"Mark was brilliant, he was so flexible with timings and everyone loved his sets - I sent him a list of songs I'd love him to play to and he freestyled a lot too and it really created a party atmosphere. He was also very quick to respond and communicate which helps when you've got a lot of vendors for a wedding. (10 / 10)"

"What a great band to have at my 50th party. From the initial booking, through finalising set lists to the performance was easy. As a customer, I felt listened to. The performance itself was brilliant and well admired by all the guests and the staff at the location! If you have a special event then get in touch with the band as they will elevate anything from the ordinary to the extraordinary!"

Just as David did for Saul, MEE came through for my family and friends. Great send off! I know my cousin was happy and at peace when she was laid to rest that day! "Non potevamo chiedere di meglio! Per il nostro matrimonio desideravamo il violino suonato dal vivo alla cerimonia e DJ set più sax live per il ricevimento. Che dire.. siamo stati più che soddisfatti del servizio! Ci siamo interfacciati sempre con Luigi, sassofonista di professione, che ha organizzato tutto perfettamente rispondendo tempestivamente a qualsiasi nostra domanda. Tutti gli invitati sono rimasti colpiti dalla sua bravura nel suonare il sax, anche la violinista che collabora con lui è riuscita ad accontentare le nostre richieste ed è stata veramente brava!"

"We particularly wanted a soul band and during our seemingly endless search of bands we were just drawn to The Soul Department! They played at our evening wedding reception earlier this month. Good reviews usually state pros and cons however, the band genuinely do not have any cons! They were professional from the onset, sounded incredible, looked incredible, great repertoire, were brilliant fun and had our wedding party rockin'!!! From start to finish they had our guests on their feet, we loved every minute! Exactly what we wanted! Cannot recommend these guys enough, worth their weight in gold, definitely will book them again, no question!! Thank you, you were amazing!! Melanie Cook xx"

"10/10 - Excellent! As a wedding manager, it is always such a joy to work with suppliers who not only excel in their role but who are also genuinely wonderful people. Mark was an absolute pleasure to have at the wedding yesterday, he was professional, calm, and incredibly positive throughout the entire evening. His presence made a real difference to the atmosphere, not only due to his incredible saxophone playing, but his equally incredible persona, energy and vibe. I cannot recommend him highly enough!"

He creates such a lovely atmosphere every time - whether it’s chilled afternoon drinks or something a bit more upbeat, he just gets it right.
