"“The best covers band I have ever heard!” We lost count of the number of guests that said this to us at our wedding on Friday. The first time we heard Nigel and his band play, we knew they were exactly what we were looking for. Throughout the whole process Nigel was at the end of an email, promptly answering any questions I had about their set and the logistics of the day. Brides-to-be if you want a band that will take the music side of things off your shoulders, keep your guests entertained and end the night with everybody not wanting to leave the dance floor and asking for more, then the Hound Dogs are the band for you. Also, special thanks to Nigel & Steve who played a personal, acoustic rendition of my Dad’s favourite song. It is a memory we will treasure forever. Thank you so much for making our day so special. "Cecilia was extremely kind and helpful from the very first contact. She very kindly helped me put together the songs, and then we agreed on a location. Cecilia played for us next to the Colosseum in Rome, which was the most beautiful surprise for my fiancée. When we were done, my sweetheart said; the live music was so touching. I am very grateful to you, it was wonderful. Thank you!"

"Thank you Big Smoke Brass for making our wedding so special. We wanted to find a band who did something a bit different, and who could play to a wedding crowd without being too ‘cheesy’. I’m so glad they were able to make our wedding in Wales; they were incredible. From the start, they were flexible about what songs we wanted them to play and were quick to respond - all while being amazing musicians who I’d love to see play all over again. They really judged the mood of the evening and both of their sets were brilliant. Everyone left the evening wanting to know who the band were, how we found them...or wanted to pick up a tuba and start learning. Thank you, thank you! "

"Absolutely fantastic Ceilidh band. They had a break down en route to our wedding and still somehow managed to get there and start on time and pull off a marvellous show. Very accommodating with what tunes and dances we wanted and also with what we wanted to be played later that evening. All in all absolutely delighted."

"Squid Lips played at our wedding in Evian last weekend. They handled all aspects of music and sound from ceremony, to jazz during cocktails, to mics for speeches, to band for dancing, and the DJ for later on. They really did an incredible job, took account of all our requests, no matter how obscure, and kept people on the dance floor all night. Cannot recommend this very talented bunch of musicans highly enough!"

" We first danced to Ostrich Hat at fraternity parties in college. 8.5 years later, they're better than ever. They had our wedding on the dance floor for hours straight. Their first set absolutely killed it, we didn't know how they could top themselves, but they kept the party going until we were literally kicked out of the venue. The band was partying right along side us. Jeff was super easy to work with, very responsive, and on top of all of the details. People have been asking us for the band's information for weeks since the wedding. They were the best, and made our wedding the best party of our lives!"

"Wirklich vom Feinsten! Wir haben Tcha Simmons für eine private Feier gebucht. Die Buchung war unkompliziert, Tcha hat uns gut beraten und uns geholfen den Ramen abzustecken (Anzahl Musiker, Musikalischer Stil, etc). Der Auftritt dann war grossartig! Unsere Gäste - von denen einige Profimusiker waren - waren begeistert! Die charismatische Stimme von Tcha, das bluesig-jazzige Repertoire von Jazz-Standards über Songs von Stevie Wonder bis hin zu the Doors und Eigenkompositionen war spannend und einfach hinreissend. Auch die durch den italienischen Keyboarder eingestreuten italienischen Balladen (Lucio Dalla, Zuchero, etc.) haben sehr gut gepasst und für noch mehr Abwechslung gesorgt. Auch wurden spontan gewünschte Songs gespielt, wo man die Klasse der Musiker erlebt hat. Die Freude am Musizierenn war spürbar und ansteckend. Die Moderation war passend zum gewünschten Rahmen und menschlich war es sehr angenehm im Kontakt mit den Musikern. Ich bin absolut begeistert und kann Tcha vollumfänglich weiterempfehlen. Wirklich vom Feinsten! Vielen, vielen Dank!!! am 3. September 2025 "
