"I booked Phil for my 30th Birthday do at a local restaurant, after hearing him play on a Saturday morning in Beverley. Phil was outstanding - a true entertainer, he picked a fantastic set list, which was perfect for the crowd! We all had the best night, thank you Phil! :D "

"Raphael and the Blue Moon Jazz trio played at our wedding ceremony and reception in Tuscany in October. The responsiveness during the planning could not be faulted and their flexibility in being able to learn our specified songs for during the ceremony was great. They had a lovely sound – just the style of jazz that we enjoy – and played a number of sets based on our preferences. They also played some more contemporary songs in a jazz style during the ceremony. They integrated into the ceremony without any hassle and were in fact the easiest of all the many parts of the wedding to organise. I would certainly recommend Raphael and the Blue Moon Quartet for any wedding or function – such a nice group of very talented people and they made our day truly memorable! "

"We had the pleasure of receiving the Elton John Tribute Show at Rhodes on Saturday 1st February 2014. The production played to a near capacity house, all of whom enjoyed the show immensely. Iain, as Elton John, didn't fall into the trap of doing an 'impression' of Elton John, choosing instead to concentrate on strong vocals and a relaxed conversation style with the audience that took them along on a journey. He was supported by a group of exceptionally talented musicians who faithfully recreated the music in a tight and vibrant style. In an age of half-hearted and slack 'tributes' this was a breath of fresh air and I would not hesitate to look at a return booking in the near future. PHIL DALE Artistic Producer Rhodes Centre"

"Best part of our reception One of our best experiences was working with Smooth Mood Project! When we first met with Vasia and John, we were blown away with how easy going they were, how receptive they were to our suggestions and taste in music, and how comfortable they made us feel. Both of them were very communicative, flexible, and extremely dependable -- three qualities we especially valued as we were planning a destination wedding. In terms of their actual performance on the wedding day, Smooth Mood Project went out of their way to make our day extra special. They are talented, warm, and so much fun! Our guests were blown away with their performance and raved about them -- the piano, the vocals, the stage presence were all enchanting. "I arrived the reception hall late with 100 little worries on my mind, but as I walked up with to the melodious sounds of horn & bass playing "Take 5," I knew then that everything was going to be more than fine. These musicians are talented, flexible, professional with a good dose of personality. It was the easiest and best decision I made to hire a live band instead of a DJ for my wedding. I am holding onto their card for our next soiree. I would highly recommend these guys for any occasion."
