"Dear Barry, You are one in a million and most likely a billion or a trillion!!! Without YOU, our wedding would have NEVER been the fabulous event it was, which has everyone who participated in or attended it, including the staff at the Valley Hunt Club commenting that it was the best wedding EVER!!!! What you provide is transcendental, and definitely a cut above the rest of the countless and mundane assortment of the Southern California wedding DJ's. Your music selections had appeal for ALL ages, even the hard to please teenagers among our guests without annoying or insulting our seniors. This seems like an impossible feat and yet you achieved it flawlessly. And, most of all, you have a huge component of COOL which gratifies the needs of all of us want-a-be cool people!!! "Matthew played an acoustic set during our wedding reception in a beautiful open courtyard at Meols Hall. His performance was perfect for the setting and the day. He really helped to set the atmosphere we were looking for during the reception. I can't speak highly enough of Matthew's ability as a singer and a guitarist. Prior to the big day, Matthew was responsive to questions, engaged in calls to discuss details of the day, and worked with us to create a set list to fit our wedding day. He was professional from start to finish, and I would highly recommend Matthew to friends and family for future events."

"Oak & Brass were fantastic and a brilliant surprise for a 60th Birthday party. They were really easy to communicate with beforehand and kindly learned some of the birthday girls favourite songs for the big day. We were up and dancing the minute they started and I don't think any of the party sat down from the moment they arrived. Everyone at the party was raving about the music the day after.... I would book again in an instant. Thanks Oak & Brass!"

"The singer Christine arrived in time (arriving from Montreal to Ottawa). Christine was singing and playing guitar. The singing was excellent, the guests perceived it very well. Christine also plays guitar nicely. She was also very nice and approachable - the guests asked for a few extra songs, and Christine performed them as well. I really enjoyed the evening, and was very happy I invited Christine."
