"Johnny is an absolute amazing bagpiper. I have heard many over the years and he really sounded perfect. He helped with our father’s graveside service. He communicated very well to help make things much easier for us. He accommodated travel and was very timely. He helped us plan the music wonderfully and it moved everyone. I would highly recommend him."

"Andrew gave a wonderful performance for us at our wedding. The weather wasn't fantastic during the afternoon, but Andrew kept all of our guests entertained, played us into dinner too. It brought a taste of Scotland to Liverpool."

"Michael was amazing at our wedding recently! He was extremely easy to work with and flexible with our song choices and made a great impression on our guests at arrival to the church and drinks reception at the hotel. His musical skill is incredible and we really appreciate everything and highly recommend him. He has a very friendly, approachable and down to earth personality."

"Andrew was playing when I arrived with my father in the morning to the wedding ceremony. He looked stunning in his full dress and bear skin. He piped me and my father into the ceremony to my favourite piece of music, Highland Cathedral. He seemed to play non stop and every single guest commented on the atmospheric music throughout the arrival drinks reception. Andrew played outside whilst we had photographs taken and when the time came, played my husband and I into our wedding breakfast. He was completely amazing and a joy to speak with. He helped make our wedding day so special and we simply can't thank him enough."

"Bagpiper at sunset We hired Dave for a 15-minute sunset bagpiper performance. He was prompt, amazed our 20 guests with his playing, and answered the questions the audience had. Provided a history of the tunes he played, too. Bravo!"

"Mr. Miner played his bagpipe for my wife’s funeral, specifically at the graveside service and it was beautiful. He played a few songs as prelude and as her casket was being moved to the grave. He then stood at attention during the service and then as it concluded he slowly walked away playing ‘til we meet again. I’m tearing up again as I write this because it was beautiful and perfect and peaceful. His formal Scottish attire was immaculate and his decorum was very respectful. I’m not sure if I will ever need his services again but if I do I will track him down again. (Or have my children get him to play at my funeral someday 😢)."

"Great for Family Reunion It was a 90 degree day and the Reunion was in a banquet room where the air conditioning just couldn't keep up - most of the time it was in the 80s inside the place - awful! But John came in his beautiful Scottish attire and played for about 4 hours on and off - always positive and a fabulous attitude and looked fresh as a daisy! He was so professional and friendly and did a great job - playing everything at just the right time! We were all very impressed with his talent and his performance made the event a huge success! "

"Just to say thank you for playing at our wedding recently. It added something different for the guests and everyone has said how much they enjoyed hearing the bag pipes. Of course it was traditional for myself and my family but you made my mother and father's day! I was born in Scotland but moved to Wales when I was 5, my father never wanted me to forget my roots so he would play pipe music on our old record player. "The DooLallys perform with a simultaneous lightness and reverence that enchants their audience. They seem to take the pulse of the room and play in resonance. A lovely and willing group of musicians with a dexterous range, very much enjoyed them. Would highly recommend! "

"Claire & Craig McDonald wrote on FB on their wedding 9/9/24 Piper - Kevin Monahan (thecypruspiper) - Kevin was phenomenal. We wanted to add a little bit of "home" to our destination wedding with a piper. As soon as he arrived and began playing, everyone including hotel guests stood up and watched and listened. We spoke to Kevin several times in the lead up to the wedding to discuss tunes we wanted - Kevin offered advice and alternatives when needed, as well as providing suggestions based on where each of us were from. Kevin mingled with guests and was friendly and funny throughout. We really appreciated the effort Kevin put in to contribute to our special day, thank you"

"Johnny called me within minutes of posting a request for a bagpiper. We were coming from out of state for a funeral having little communication with the family and sparse knowledge of how the day would go. He was very communicative, friendly, and accommodating He was professional, arrived well in advance, played wonderfully, and conducted his portion of the ceremony as if there had been rehearsals, although the service was very much off the cuff. He was flexible and could adapt at the last minute, working alongside the honor guard to help create a beautiful and honoring ceremony. Would absolutely recommend him to anyone and would call him again."

"Johnny is excellent to work with, super talented, and compassionate. I can’t even begin to explain just how special it was to have him play at my dad’s graveside service. It brought peace and closure and was just what the family needed and what dad would have wanted. I highly recommend Johnny."
