"Absolutely excellent. With minimum instructions did everything we wanted and more. Really lovely at the end how he marched off playing the pipes. Very poignant. Arrived everywhere he needed to be prepared and ready. Really couldn't have been better. The last thing you need is to be stressing at a funeral and to have someone know exactly what they are doing and when to do it was a god send. Was really lovely performance. My mum would have loved it. (10 / 10) Calvin"

"Mr. Minor was extremely professional throughout the whole process. He was at the cemetery for my mothers graveside service well before we arrived and played beautifully. He has a large repertoire of songs and is willing to learn songs if he doesn’t know them. Not at all pushy about money and the price was extremely fair. I of course don’t want to have to call him for funeral services anytime soon, but the next time it comes up I will definitely call him first."

"I attended a funeral where David Carril played. He played beautifully and looked and acted with great professionalism. The music spoke for itself and he was unobtrusive, obviously very experienced and respectful. It definitely added to the personal feel of the service for a very special man. I have no hesitation to recommend him. "

"John was so incredibly professional from beginning to end. He asked so many questions regarding our wishes to make sure to give us the experience we needed. When I didn’t really know what I wanted and wasn’t sure what to even ask for, he offered so many wonderful ideas for my father’s memorial that I didn’t even think to ask. It made all the difference. His performance elevated my father’s Memorial to a whole new level. Everyone felt it was so special. I HIGHLY recommend John. I will absolutely hire him again."

"Hi Kev, It's Angie and Niall, Louis Phaethon, 11th June. How you doing? Sorry we never got a chance to meet up again after the wedding as we were only there to the Sunday and most of the guests left on Saturday so it was all a bit hectic. We just wanted to tell you how much we loved you playing the pipes at our wedding. You really did make the day extra special and even though we were in Cyprus it felt like a true Scottish/Irish wedding. Everyone thought you were great and a big thank you from all of us for playing not only my favourite Scottish tunes but also some great Irish ones as well.
