"There are no words. Alkka and Chris were just phenomenal. Their talent and abilities are unmatched and to top it off, they are the loveliest people. We contacted Alkka and Chris to play at our venue in Cortijo Rosa Blanca a few months ago for our wedding this October. They were so easy to deal with and were always so pleasant. They had a lovely list of songs they recommended and also were able to include some songs that were special to us. On the day, when they weren’t singing they were smiling. All of our guests commented on how extremely talented they both are. For our cocktail hour, they played music based on the vibe, and what a vibe they were. "We had Alkka and Chris perform at our wedding reception, it was a small ceremony with only close friends and family and both Alkka and Chris immediately got the vibe. They set up without a hassle or too many instructions, they very warm and congratulating and the music was absolutely perfect. They sang exactly what we wanted and they fit into an already perfect day. I will hold on to the memory of dancing with friends and family to their music forever, for us, it was one of the best parts of the day."

"In September 2022, I worked with Michiel and Wouter for an informal corporate team-building event. We had a great feeling from our first phone call! I didn't yet know how the evening itself would unfold. Would there be dancing? Would it be purely dining? I also communicated this to the artists, and they agreed that the music would be adapted to the guests' mood. They had a perfect feel for the evening itself and immediately created the right atmosphere during our dinner. There were countless quiet moments at the table, simply because our guests were enjoying their musical talent, voices, and appearance. These guys are fantastic!"

"For our wedding, we wanted something that would create a truly emotional and elegant atmosphere, and choosing a piano and cello duo was the perfect decision. From the very beginning, they demonstrated great professionalism and a genuine passion for what they do. They helped us build a musical plan for the entire day, offering suggestions that were both refined and appropriate for each moment. We never felt pressured—only supported and guided. The ceremony was unforgettable. The cello added a deep emotional tone, while the piano provided a beautiful structure. Together, they created something incredibly moving. Many of our guests told us they had never experienced a ceremony with such a powerful musical atmosphere. During the reception, the music shifted naturally to a more relaxed style. The transition was seamless, and the repertoire remained elegant and engaging. We received so many compliments about the music. It truly made a difference."

"The Distance played at our companies 10th anniversary event. We absolutely loved them and have had comments from both staff and clients since the event. They really made our night unique. They were professional, kept in contact (we even booked them at really short notice and they were so SO helpful!), and honestly just made the night special. "Before we hired Karla Ruiz we looked at many groups…we wanted plenty of music for the ceremony but also the ability to choose our favourite songs and Girona Duo allowed us to do just that. From the moment they listened to our proposed idea we never had a no for an answer. We knew that it would not be easy and it would be a challenge for any musician…it shows when someone does their work with love and affection, and they certainly did. We couldn’t have asked for more, we only have the best words of gratitude to say about them!"

"I had Paul and Crissie perform at my Jubilee Party garden/street party that me and my wife organised. They helped set up the equipment for the party in the farmers field for all of our neighbours and friends to attend. What a day! Even had people doing song requests and karaoke in the evening! Very accommodating people, and always willing to go the extra mile. "

"Vincenzo participated as a vocalist, accompanied by excellent musicians, in many of our wedding events. With him we have a sure guarantee of success, both for his exceptional skill and for his great professionalism: punctual and respectful, he manages to interface with the spouses and their guests with sympathy, professionalism and empathy. He manages to embrace multiple musical styles and meet the spouses' requests with great availability. Also very good at party animation: he manages to capture the right atmosphere for each event and behave accordingly, both using a more festive and engaging register and a more reserved and elegant one. The pre-event communication was also excellent, always available and attentive to understanding the different needs."

"Absolutely fantastic band doing a really wide range of covers. The guys themselves were really helpful and friendly and adapted to suit our venue. We hired them for a work Christmas party and they had no problem getting everyone up and dancing from the first song. Would definitely recommend them for any event!"
