"Dear Playlisters, Just a quick letter to thank you all for playing at our Wedding. All our guests commented on how great you all were & particulally great vocals. Every time i looked at the dancefloor it was packed full of people dancing & smiling. Thank you for bearing with me & letting me play on the drums. "We really wanted a folk style band with a saxophone player which believe it or not seems to be harder to find than you would think and then we found you guys and we are so thankful that we chose you! Your performance from start to finish and you were all so lovely to have at our wedding. Huge thanks to Billy for also singing our first dance – it’s a moment we will cherish"

"Wonderful entertainer, a real crowd pleaser December, 3rd, 2023 Bob sang for my mum’s 90th birthday celebration and was a hit with young(er) and old alike. He has a great voice and is also an entertaining story teller. His performance was the highlight of the night for my mum. Highly recommended. "

"I booked Blag to play for my wedding and I was astonished by their ability to play almost any genre of music. They have a really lively act and are very down-to-earth, polite and professional to work with. It was clear that they really love playing music and their energy and enthusiasm infused the whole evening. The wedding reception was running late with the speeches and food, so Blag wandered around the tables playing violin and guitar acoustically before they played their evening set….It was magical. If I ever get married again, Blag will be my band of choice!!!"

"The band just came in and started getting set up with no hassle during a busy part of the evening for the wedding party, which was really helpful... The ceilidh caller was really enthusiastic and clear in his instructions (which was great for those new to the dance!)... You learned our song for our first dance, which meant a lot to us, sounded great, and set up the dancing part of the night really well!"

"Recently had the pleasure of having Michael play at a family funeral service. From the get go he was so kind, considerate and professional. His uniform was immaculate and his pipes sounded absolutely incredible. Hugely talented man and would recommend him for any event. 10/10!"

"Wow, just wow. We hired the Brogues for our daughters wedding, who wasn't convinced a Ceilidh was for them. To start with Grace is a fabulous communicator, nothing was too much trouble and lots of questions were asked to make sure the evening went down with a bang. The Ceilidh was just fabulous, EVERYONE got involved, and the instructions from the band was great. They had patience of Saints, and even threw some humour in too. Our daughter and son in law LOVED it ( a bit of kudos for me) and said 'it made' the wedding evening. So, if you're considering booking them we really cannot recommend The Brogues enough. Competitively priced and simply the best entertainment we've had for years. You won't regret it!"
