"Bob Ferguson has played in Hannes Musikcafe in March 2023 and we have been to several of his concerts. His repertoire ranges widely from the Scottish/Irish/American song treasure mixed with his own numbers. From beginning to end, he involves the audience – ie; - he moves around among the audience and gets them to sing along to the many well-known sing-along songs. Bob is fantastic at "reading" his audience, makes lots of fun, laughs and jokes and has a fantastic contact with his audience. The songs mix with seasoned fine stories, lots of humour and vivid descriptions. Dressed in a kilt and with his powerful voice, from the moment he takes the stage, he creates a close and intimate atmosphere, and you leave the concert in a good mood. We can wholeheartedly recommend Bob Ferguson."

"The brogues played and entertained a 60-strong private birthday celebration ceilidh at our village hall. Their skills, musicality, repertoire, dance ‘calling’ and organisation were all excellent, well received and responded to by an all-age gathering. Great band - wonderful music - highly recommended! "

"We just wanted to write a short thank you for playing at our wedding. The ceilidh was so much fun and a great success with all our guests. It was nice to see so many people of different ages and stages enjoy themselves together. The ceilidh caller did a great job in directing the moves and the musicians did a great job in playing such beautiful music!! To anyone considering hiring Cats Claw Ceilidh band for your next event- go for it! You won’t regret it! "

"Annasach ceilidh band were extremely professional, friendly and were able to adapt to the demands of a wedding in France. The guests were all raving about the fun they had Ceilidh dancing. Trisha, the caller managed to talk the guests through the steps keeping it as simple as possible. This was appreciated by all the guests including the experienced and novice Ceilidh dancers."

"We had Trio come perform at our wedding Day 2 in Cavan, and it was truly one of the best decisions of our wedding planning. They had all of our guests signing along and dancing to their music in the pub. The set list was absolutely incredible and they even performed an encore because our guests weren’t ready for them to leave! The lads were also absolute gentleman to work with when booking them, super responsive and flexible with our venue changing during the process. We would hire the Trio again in a heartbeat, and cannot recommend them enough. Thanks!"

"We were very fortunate to have the lads at our day 2 bbq. They were so quick to reply and were very understanding when we needed a later start at short notice. "I watched their promo video and thought this band would be a great fit for our community gathering. My main job is in concert audio, and I work with bands every week. I've done high main stream bands and garage bands, Robert Mabe put on a performance that was breath taking amazing. His band's sound was like nothing anyone has heard, our audience was silent with anticipation of the band's next musical note. Before the show was over city officials asked me for their contact info to bring them in for next year's fair concert. This band is worth 10 times what they charge. They are the real deal and will blow away your audience. And yes we're bringing them back."

He was extremely easy to work with and flexible with our song choices and made a great impression on our guests at arrival to the church and drinks reception at the hotel. His musical skill is incredible and we really appreciate everything and highly recommend him. He has a very friendly, approachable and down to earth personality."
