"OH MY GOD!!! Undoubtedly the BEST ceilidh I've ever been to. The music was world class - and Patricia the caller managed to coordinate 300 people of 48 different nationalities to dance together!! The craic was mighty - my calves are still hurting 3 days later. Thank you so much for making our night magical and giving all our European counterparts such a good impression of Celtic Culture!"

"Stefano performed at our Serenata the night before our wedding, and I could not recommend him enough. From the very first contact, his warmth, kindness, and passion for music and entertainment shone through. On the night itself, Stefano didn’t feel like just an entertainer—he felt like a guest at our celebration. His presence was genuine and heartfelt, and he brought with him the most fun, traditional, and authentic Italian experience. Even with our diverse crowd of international guests, everyone was completely engaged and uplifted by his music and energy. He is incredibly talented and truly brought so much life, joy, and authenticity to the evening. Having Stefano there made the night unforgettable, and I wholeheartedly recommend him for any event."

"Ock Street Band were a key part of our Community Open Day at Cowley Road Methodist Church, keeping our visitors and the whole of Cowley Road entertained! We were enormously grateful for their commitment and energy which greatly enhanced our event. They were wonderful to work with, friendly and passionate about what they do. "I've just want to say what a fantastic evening we had dancing at the Ceilidh. We were visiting Edinburgh for a special birthday on Burns night as I'd always wanted to celebrate it in Scotland. Though our kids / young adults (13 & 16) were the youngest there, we were all warmly welcomed. The music was great, the calling helped us get to grips with the dances, and the atmosphere was fantastic. We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, thank you! Thanks again for an amazing night."

"Adar and Matan were very professional and adaptive and fit our event wonderfully! They started with playing instrumental music on the guitar and the hand pan, and adapted to playing a little longer as the greetings section took a little longer than expected. They later on took the energy up with some original songs. Very professional, nice and kind people, I could only recommend. -Ohad "

"Their ability, at short notice, to turn up and turn in a stonking evening of fine music, laced with wit, anecdotes and reminiscences. Recommended to anyone who enjoys fine trad music played with enthusiasm and enjoyment. As performed at the Rafters club, Wath, on 14th December"

"Booked the Brogues for our wedding and they couldn't have been more accommodating. Excellent band who helped out with anything we needed - including throwing in a few slow dances for a very pregnant bridesmaid! We and all our guests had a fabulous time. If you book The Brogues you won't regret it!"

"I watched their promo video and thought this band would be a great fit for our community gathering. My main job is in concert audio, and I work with bands every week. I've done high main stream bands and garage bands, Robert Mabe put on a performance that was breath taking amazing. His band's sound was like nothing anyone has heard, our audience was silent with anticipation of the band's next musical note. Before the show was over city officials asked me for their contact info to bring them in for next year's fair concert. This band is worth 10 times what they charge. They are the real deal and will blow away your audience. And yes we're bringing them back."
