Review Centre: Rock 'n' Roll Bands

"Wow! One week on and I am still revelling in memories from my 50th birthday party with Herding Katz performing! They were AWEOME!!! I am honestly trying to think of a reason to host another party soon, just to get them to play again. All my guests raved about the band, songs played and how great it was that they were so engaging of the crowd. Friends are already planning on booking them for their parties in the future. Gary was so professional and friendly from first contact. We chatted about music genres and favourite bands, and straight away I knew they were exactly the band I was looking for. Good old pub sing-a-longs and rock classics from my youth. The band are a friendly group of guys who obviously enjoy music and performing. They had my young kids, party guests, myself, my hubby all up on stage at one time or another singing along or playing an instrument. No pressure, just fun! I seriously had the best birthday ever dancing, singing and partying while the band played. I can not emphasis how much fun Herding Katz were and how awesome the night was! So many great memories. I can’t thank these guys enough for making my party the huge success it was. Can’t wait to see you guys again and rock on! Thanks guys so much for the most amazing night of music and partying! I would be happy to recommend Herding Katz to anyone that was considering booking them. Do yourself a favour, you will have the time of your life!"

"We’ve had plenty of live acts come through our doors, but The Coffin Dodgers are the ones people still talk about weeks later. Asking if/when they will be back. They know how to get a crowd moving, and their sound fills the room perfectly. Absolutely worth every penny we’ll be booking them again!"

"We chose Dona Ofélia to play and sing during our church ceremony. We chose the trio: voice, guitar, and violin. Unfortunately, the violinist was injured and they asked us if we would mind if they used a cello instead of a violin. We agreed and we don't regret it. It was a beautiful ceremony. All of our guests gave us great feedback. We recommend them."

"Greg was amazing at our event and looked & sounded just like Elvis! He took photos with all the guest, sang many songs and did humorous vow renewal (at our request). He was super accommodating and east to work with. All of our guests agreed that he is the best Elvis they had seen in Las Vegas. "Having Ant at our wedding made it so special and memorable! Ant played while I walked down the aisle, sang our first dance, and also played during the drinks reception. Ant was lovely to work with, responsive and enthusiastic, and really cared about our day and what we wanted. He is also a lovely guy and was so much fun to have there on the day! Ant is so talented and we had so many comments from guests on how brilliant he was. I wish I had video’d the day so I could hear it all over again! I would 100% book Ant again for any live music in the future. Thank you Ant!"

"This band ROCKED! Not only would I recommend having a band instead of a DJ, in general...definitely use Swiftkick. Thom, the lead singer has an amazing voice. He played acoustically for both my ceremony and cocktail hour as well. My guests were so impressed and we danced all night long. Even people who I thought would not dance, were up rocking out. Swiftkick made my wedding. It would have been no where near as fun if not for them. I would definitely recommend using them for any event....from weddings to holiday parties and everything in between"
