"Last year my band Smacked Youth embarked on our first ever tour of UK and Europe all the way from sunny Australia. Our drummer was unable to make the tour so after some scrolling online I found my new friend for life Sebastian Fernandez. Seb learnt all of our set perfectly within a short period of time leading up to the tour. We touched down in Heathrow and then went to rehearsal where Seb absolutely nailed the drum parts. The next few weeks that followed were some of the most adventurous and memorable times I’ve had in my life. Was an honour to work with Seb and I will cherish our friendship forever."

"You are an exceptional musician, I loved your way of playing and interpreting, as well as that of the entire group, an excellent proposal to spend a pleasant and fun time and at the same time listen to good music by good musicians.. I will definitely recommend you. "

"We are absolutely blessed to have this guy on our team. He is not only an outstanding musician and professional, but also one of the kindest, most genuine people you will ever meet. He has been a professional drummer all of his adult life and is literally “world class” having played all over the world. "

"Couldn't have asked for a better wedding band. Free Rads brass band played an amazing set that got everyone dancing from the second they started. I've never seen a response like that from any wedding crowd. Excellent musicians and great variety of tunes that kept things interesting. Booking them was really easy and communication was great throughout. Everyone was on time and ready to play. Definitely recommend if you want a super funky wedding dance party! "

"“Beautiful, powerful start with "These Eyes". Powerhouse vocals, blues content is "spot on". Thank you for all the originals. Engage stage presence. Really enjoyed your wide vocal range. There are so many Blues categories, you defied every one of them. DON'T STOP, KEEP IT UP. Very Refreshing. You are in a class by yourself.” --from 2024 Blues Challenge"

"(Sax perspective) Do NOT slip on this man.. He wasn’t only easy to play with, but a joy to play with!! I can’t speak more highly even if I could. In the sax/woodwind world it’s tough because you’re more solo/lead dominant; Bear rose to the occasion and actually LISTENED as a TRUE percussionist. He’s a soloist AND instrumentalist, and that’s super hard to find. (ie. When I was playing straight through a solo.. he did; when I had rhythmic augmentation.. Bear did; no matter the tempi) DAWG."

"I had the privilege of seeing Shake perform at the Albion hotel last night, I had never seen him before and was pleasantly surprised! He was super upbeat and engaging with the audience and made sure to include people by asking for song recommendations. He covered many genres of music and was super entertaining, a great voice and drum skills! He was also super lovely to chat to and would definitely recommend him for any events you have in mind!"
