"I have had the pleasure of enjoying Girl Fridays music on a number of occasions. Great band and Michelle is a great vocalist, They have a great repertoire of music and certainly know how to entertain a large or small audience. I would highly recommend them if you are looking for some live music for your next event"

"We were indeed very fortunate to be introduced to Girl Friday ensemble whilst on a 2hour sunset cruise of Maloolaba canals. Girl Friday did not stop. From Classic jazz numbers to crooners and everything in betweent they had it all covered. A huge Thankyou for bringing something back of which we have been missing. Fabulous entertainment with songs and music we can relate to and all sung to perfection. Thankyou. I will be following you in your Socials now hoping to catch you on future gigs. Cheers M "

Before the wedding Jess worked very hard with the venue to ensure we could have the best possible line up for our reception and set up a surprise happy birthday for the mother of the bride with no problems. "This time, Marcia Bamberg Swing Quartet was our guest at our special concert stage. Their passion and warmth radiated from the small stage. The audience was close to the Quartet, which created a direct and almost personal experience. It felt like a living room concert, but with a great professional performance that you would expect at a larger venue. From the beginning to the last applause, it was an impressive performance, in which both quiet, atmospheric ballads and rhythmic numbers were alternated. Marcia's beautiful voice that combined wonderfully with the sounds of the guitars and double bass. The quartet not only knows how to shine musically, but also the contact with the audience is special! They bring an evening-filling program full of beautiful numbers and moments of interaction, which create an intimate and cozy atmosphere. What an honor to receive you. Thank you!"

"Saxophones, a rhythm section and vocals, swinging like crazy – that’s the aptly named FIVE STAR SWING ! As saxophone section in any band, they would take some beating. Beautiful tones and well-rehearsed by their leader, Chris Smith (Jnr), who has the singular talent of playing the trumpet with his right hand and the piano with his left at one and the same time ! He also happens to be a very experienced music writer having learnt his trade with the National Youth Jazz Orchestra and Glenn Miller’s Brother, Herb. Add to the fact that he can also well handle a vocal, as can his wife, lead alto Simone Smith and tenor man Stephen Davies, who’s clarinet playing on “Sing, Sing, Sing” was superb – and it will give you some idea of the breadth of talent in this line-up. This is a band crying out to be danced to and it wasn’t long before the jivers took to the dance floor. Five Star Swing –a “must” for every dance club in the country."

"This was the second occasion it's been my pleasure to watch Harmonica Lewinsky at the Green Dragon and certainly won't be the last. The venue itself is a good old-fashioned local that, unlike many in the area, hasn't been gentrified but is cosy, friendly and intimate. The trio were absolutely brilliant, put smiles on the faces of everyone present and there was much foot-tapping and singing-along. I look forward to the next time."

"It was a pleasure to have Brian and Tim play at our office open event. They set the mood just right and it helped the evening to be the huge success that it was. It was a really easy booking process and our minds were put at rest with their communication and they are very good value. I would strongly recommend the Duo and wouldn’t hesitate to re-book for future events. "

"The best birthday surprise possible! I knew my husband was going to organise something special as he always likes to go all our but this was the icing on the cake! The band even performed a special coldplay song at his request for me! I feel like a very lucky lady!"
