Review Centre: Dance Bands

"We all had a wonderful night. The band were excellent playing exactly what we wanted, bringing back memories of the 60's. Within a few minutes of them starting to play the dance floor was full and stayed that way all night. The band members were friendly and could not do enough to make the experience perfect. At the end everyone was saying how good they were, so many compliments. We would definitely rebook if there is another occasion to allow us to do that. "

"Electro Retro were amazing! They took the time to get to know us and our wedding plans before the event, and they were a perfect fit! They understood all of our needs (from ceremony DJ through the end of the dance party -- including accommodating 2 toasts given over the phone due to COVID!) and worked with us to make our event exactly what we wanted, including by dressing in costumes that fit the vibe of our event. They exceeded our expectations, and really made our wedding -- including the two hours of dance party after dusk -- everything we were hoping it would be. I would absolutely book them again. (Sorry, we don't have our professional photos back yet!)"

"I’d just like to say a massive thank you to Dave, Mike and Gerry who form The Berking Mad Band. This is the third event that we have booked them for and once again it was a massive success. They are always reliable and turn up on time. They set up the equipment with no fuss and are very adaptable to any type of event whether it be a Burns Night, a Ceilidh, a Wedding or a Birthday Party. Dave is incredibly patient at giving instructions to those who are novice dancers and even goes out onto the dance floor to help people with the dance steps. They cater for all abilities, young and old! Dave encourages people to get up to dance without being too intrusive and has a good sense of humour which makes people laugh and enjoy the night. Everyone who has been to our events where The Berking Mad Band have played have thoroughly enjoyed themselves and have always been very positive about this band. "I had taken on the Llamas to entertain my clients. Under normal confitions i don't stay past the first set. however these boys were doing something different and fresh. Enjoyed by all and seemed to get my guests dancing. Looking forward to their next turn at Morts"

"All we can say is Wow! Jay and his crew were amaaaaaazing! Truly made the night so memorable and fun. We couldn't be happier. From the minute they got to our house until they packed up their last instrument, they were nothing but professional, polite, respectful and friendly. And let's talk about how talented and entertaining they were! Even our neighbors said that they sat in their driveway and enjoyed the sounds of the evening. They truly ""brought the house down"" and we couldn't be more grateful and appreciative. We thanked Jay, and Rob's in touch w him about Venmo-ing, what we hope is a generous tip for him and his band. Monica, you too have been nothing but so helpful and gracious. It takes a village and we are so grateful for our fantastic village of vendors such as you and Jay. Thanks again for everything!!
