"The Piano and Violin Duo made our wedding truly unforgettable. We were looking for something romantic and elegant, and they delivered far beyond our expectations. "I recognise immediately that these serious musicians are challenging the listener and themselves to play outside the box.(...) Music Soup is a good name for this trio of musicians because they embrace a mixed bag of styles and musical concepts that mirror their decade of playing together and their individual personalities... ... Because they have been working together for ten years, Music Soup has a tight, cohesive sound. Their music is well written and produced. On “Your Song” horns join the group. Special guests Dimitris Papadopoulos on trumpet, Dimitri Vassilakis on tenor sax and Antonis Andreou on trombone fatten the sound. However these horns, (nicely arranged by Haris Ziouva) are merely icing on the creative cake that Karlafti and Dimopoulos have baked. Nestor’s bluesy guitar and Evgenia Karlafti’s organ mastery are the fireworks of this production. "

"I have been taking piano classes with Gabriel for about two months now. I can say that Gabriel is an excellent piano teacher. He is very professional yet not intimidating. I have no musical background. He is very patient. Also, he explains very well the musical concepts. I can follow easily what he plays on the piano. He is very accommodating if class time needs to be changed. I absolutely recommend Gabriel as a piano teacher!"

"What Ferdie can do that nobody else does (to the extent that he does it) is sing his heart out, and then play his heart out-- his vocal and instrumental expressions are equally strong. It's not like he's trying to get a gig at the local Holiday Inn lounge, no!--he belongs in the concert hall! "I'm an architecture student and an 8th year long piano practiser. I begun taking piano lessons with Gabriel to brush up my skills and and to better understand music before pursuing a graduate degree into a French conservatory. Since the very first piano class with Gabriel, I became very enthusiastic about practicing and due to his patience and clarity to explain musical phrases, theory and interpretation rules, I started to feel and to understand better what I was playing. I warmly recommend Gabriel as a piano tutor to everyone willing to enrich his piano practice! His international experience as a pianist brings to his teaching methods a lot of patience and adaptability. During the classes, he is able to adjust our lessons to the level of instruction to meet our goals, and this, always by providing a positive and inspiring environment! "We absolutely loved having The Crotchet Club play for us at our wedding. It created such a nice ambience for us when we were having drinks and canapés and our guests loved it! The band are excellent and have a really broad repertoire. They even learned a song for us to play on the day! They were also very responsive and easy to work with - I would highly recommend them!"
