"Le concert s’est très bien passé : une quarantaine de spectateurs qui ont beaucoup apprécié ce rock nostalgique des années soixante, participation du public aux rythmes syncopés, applaudissements nourris et achats de CD à la fin du concert. Seul le manque de place en a empêchés certains de danser … Le duo de musiciens était lui aussi très satisfait. "

"Book The Woolers and your party dance floor will be crowded. I wanted a band to fill the dance floor at my retirement party and The Woolers exceeded my expectations. Great musicians playing a wide range of music that suited the mixed crowd and resulted in a fantastic evening with loads of compliments for the band from my friends and family. As well as playing great music they are a lovely group of guys and totally organised in their communication and booking processes. Highly recommended."

"I had booked Chuck to perform at my birthday party and it was wonderful success. He performed really well and my guests thoroughly enjoyed the evening. He sounded great and got the crowd up and dancing all night. I was very impressed with the large selection of music I could choose from. He was such a lovely man to deal with, very professional, courteous and punctual. Thank you Chuck for making my party a wonderful, fun and memorable event. You did a great job! I highly recommend Chuck Charles and will definitely book him again for any future events."

"Courtney was awesome!!! He played the sax at our wedding and did an amazing job picking and playing the best songs for our guests to enjoy as they walked into our ceremony site. Courtney followed that up by playing the smoothest sax ever at cocktail hour. We loved it and all our guests raved about his performance. Courtney was 10 out of 10 very professional, friendly, and so easy to work with. Book him ASAP!"

"If you are looking to have a band play at your a party or just looking to see some live music. You have to check out Lifetime Rocker. We recently had them play at our house party and they were awesome. The wide range of music they played gave everyone at the party a song that they could sing along with or dance to. Everyone one of the band members are super talented musicians and love playing. We would highly recommend the Lifetime Rockers to anyone who loves live music!"

"Ian P. Woodbury I’ve been serenaded AND stirred by THE ROCKITS twice in 2022, since being introduced to them only recently. I made a pledge to myself, in the mirror, to go and listen to them whenever I need to satisfy my audio addiction for exceptionally performed, hard driving Rock n Roll. As a guy who has been playing guitar, and singing for an audience since 1956, I continuously need to have my appetite satiated with Good Ol’ Rock n Roll. The Rockits satisfy my need quite satisfactorily! Thank You Very Much! The Rockits share the top shelf of the D.C. Area bands, with only a few other bands up there with them. There is no better party band than The Rockits. The band is well-rehearsed, instrumentally and vocally tight, and they really know how to keep the good vibes topped off at FULL, without losing the personal touch with their audience. Everyone in the band is a seasoned musician, sings very well, and harmonizes on key. But…the vocal standout is Robin Brown, the female vocalist. Robin should be known by everyone in the D. C. Metro Area, who enjoys hip Shakin’ Rock n Roll. ROBIN IS THAT GOOD! She commands the stage, like a Queen, but she is never domineering. She does not try to draw undue attention to herself, but knows her position on stage, as an integral part of a smoothly wild ensemble. She shares the M.C. duties with the band’s leader, Peter Grattan, who is a fine drummer, but in The Rockits, he is a triple threat on keyboards, guitar, and vocals. All the instrumentalists are in the top echelon of local talent, each attuned to his role in the overall mix, and they all shine in their spots. If you want a really satisfying Good Time of listening and dancing, there is no better band, who can lift you higher, than The Rockits. Going out to get your Rock n Roll fix with The Rockets is an evening well-spent. "

Thank you so very much Ian. We strive to give the best performance possible and it is people like you that make it all worth while. Having been 'Rockits' for over ten years, we appreciate every gig we get, every booking is unique, and having played a 3 year 6 nite a week residency at one of New Zealand's top hotels in my twenties, I know how important it is to 'entertain.' My experience as TVNZ's Head Of Entertainment Production for three years also has given me the experience needed to become an all round entertainer. Years of touring the world on cruise ships, recording four records for CBS and years in London have helped, so that our repertoire of 1000 songs spans sixty years and encompasses the best of the Rock 'n Roll era. Your heart felt review means so much! -Peter G Grattan (band leader)

"All I can say is - thank you. Livio Berak is a name for the volcano of energy in rock 'n' roll music. With his phenomenal voice, brilliant guitar skills, authentic and deep lyrics it's hard to take your eyes off his catchy performanse. His passion and soul that he leaves on stage are infectious. A magical and powerful experience in which the audience instinctively connect with every note, and the boundary between Livio and audience disappears. He truly rocks out every minute on stage and leaves no one indifferent."

"There’s more to Johnny Ticktin than meets the eye. Well-versed in the blues, having once served as lead guitar player for the legendary Louisiana Red, the open-minded Ticktin is a sponge, soaking up the subtle six-string nuances and intricacies of a multitude of genres—from surf to classic R&B, swing and even Mambo—on his eighth album with The Headhunters, That’s All I Need. It would feel right at home in any rough-and-tumble roadhouse. The title is borrowed from a song, covered here in all its dark, swampy glory, off Magic Sam’s 1967 iconic electric blues marvel West Side Soul. Watery, backwoods ripples of Sam’s tremolo guitar style and seductive rhythms meander through Creedence Clearwater Revival’s mysterious kudzu on Johnny & The Headhunters’ version, as Ticktin and company paddle up a lazy river of Bayou groove. Just as fluent in nasty rockabilly, they thrive in the sweltering heat of the 1957 obscurity “Chicken House,” giving it a warm buzz and making it rumble and swagger, while the lascivious, infectious funk of “Body and Fender” – a Doc Pomus/Duke Robillard joint originally built for soul crooner Johnny Adams – shakes all over and ogles the female form. A rousing, boogie-woogie version of Lowell Fulsom’s Chess Records’ hit “Rock ‘Em Dead” is wonderfully shambolic, and Ticktin rides the lightning of the Link Wray instrumental “Ace of Spaces” like a champ, gleefully wheeling through edgy garage-rock riffs with appropriate vim and vigor. What feel he and his band have for this material. There is not the slightest bit of indifference to it anywhere on this record. Not that they need it, but help arrives in the form of keyboardist Tam Sullivan, who wraps smoky, sensual organ and wraiths of piano around a soulful remake of Bobby “Blue” Bland’s “Lead Me On,” and singer Liz Springer, who joins her brazen vocals to Ticktin’s in the cheeky, but charming, duet “Watch and Chain.” And, with the solid machinery of a good backing band at work behind him, Ticktin can just let loose – witness the slide-guitar fury of their cover of Elmore James’ “Shake Your Money Maker.” For aficionados of tasteful guitar work and music that time shouldn’t have forgotten, this is what you need. —Peter Lindblad SPREAD THE NEWS! "I just love Paddy’s songs and musicians and music and energy… so when he told me he can also do weddings….!!! I just dream about asking him for mine. Their concert was just as perfect as we expected: fun, loving, true, positive! People still talk about this! "

"“The best covers band I have ever heard!” We lost count of the number of guests that said this to us at our wedding on Friday. The first time we heard Nigel and his band play, we knew they were exactly what we were looking for. Throughout the whole process Nigel was at the end of an email, promptly answering any questions I had about their set and the logistics of the day. Brides-to-be if you want a band that will take the music side of things off your shoulders, keep your guests entertained and end the night with everybody not wanting to leave the dance floor and asking for more, then the Hound Dogs are the band for you. Also, special thanks to Nigel & Steve who played a personal, acoustic rendition of my Dad’s favourite song. It is a memory we will treasure forever. Thank you so much for making our day so special. "I chose the choir packs at the church and band at Dona Ofélia's farm, and after watching and listening to many bands/choirs, these were the ones I liked the most right away because of the care they took in choosing songs and the friendliness they showed. They always made us feel at ease and any questions that arose (the kind you have when the date is really approaching) were immediately resolved with complete professionalism. All the guests praised the choir in the church, as they were simply divine with all the melodies, and at the farm, the band got everyone excited and dancing, providing a moment of fun and live music that was exactly what we were looking for on our day! Without a doubt, Dona Ofélia was another great choice for the long-awaited day ☺️"
