Review Centre: Accordion Players

"We chose The Italian Wedding band to play at our wedding. We really couldn’t have made a better choice. Mariolino and the band were really great. Their music repertoire is really perfect for an elegant Italian wedding. They were able to engage the guests by livening up the party and made us experience wonderful emotions. We got married in Piedmont and they, despite being from Rome, traveled over 600km just to make us happy. In addition, we really appreciated the fact that we also played a song on request that was not part of their repertoire. I received more compliments from guests about the band than any other aspect of the wedding. I will never run out of ways to thank Marino and the whole band for the wonderful atmosphere they were able to create. I would get married again tomorrow just to call them back! ☺️ Finally, another key aspect: they are extremely organized, punctual, and precise! I had to give them very few instructions and they were incredibly autonomous: real true PROFESSIONALS. I have no doubt, I would recommend this band to any wedding couple because I can guarantee they are the best choice any couple could make for their wedding!!!"

"I cannot recommend Aleksei enough! He played the accordion for our wedding ceremony in Atlanta, and it was absolutely magical. The Music: Aleksei is incredibly talented. He played a perfect mix of Top 40 songs that felt both modern and elegant. It was such a unique touch that our guests are still talking about! The Big Moment: The highlight of my day was walking down the aisle. Aleksei performed my specific song choice on the accordion, and it was exactly how I envisioned it—beautiful and moving. The Professionalism: As a bride, you want vendors who are reliable and kind. Aleksei was both. He made the entire process easy and stress-free. If you want a world-class musician who brings a special 'vibe' to your wedding, Aleksei is the one to hire!"

With elaborate costumes, excellent musicianship and some deadpan gags. It bills itself as Victorian but it's as if the Tardis has been employed to bring them closer to the now. Competing with the pounding drums from downstairs, this quartet create a powerful show with odes to freedom, love and loss and it would be churlish not to recommend this with utmost vim. "

"We booked Mike for a solo set for a birthday party. He walked around and interacted with the guests and was wonderful. After his solo set, we booked his trio who played some lovely jazz. It was all totally acoustic so didn't disturb our very close neighbours at all."

"Aleksei played the accordion at our surprise party last weekend, and it was amazing! Everyone loved the music, and the atmosphere became fun and lively right away. One of the best moments was when he played our favorite song, “Livin’ on a Prayer” by Bon Jovi. It sounded fantastic on the accordion, and many guests started singing along. 🎶 Aleksei was professional, friendly, and easy to work with. He made our party feel special and memorable. "10/09/2008 If you're looking for a romantic, yet fun and friendly Italian restaurant, then Il Forno is the place to go. This place gets very busy, especially on the weekends, so be prepared to wait. I'm not really big on ordering pasta from a restaurant, but I decided to go with that here. It was very garlicky and flavorful, but honestly, I am never really blown away by any pasta, since I can make some pretty good pasta at home. Apparently, this place is famous for their wood-fired pizza, and I really wish I would have tried that. I'd definitely like to go back someday to try it. While I was here, there was a guy walking around playing the accordion. This definitely added to the romantic and authentic atmosphere. I don't know why, but I always feel awkward around accordion guys--maybe it's some inner childhood phobia. I think I would be safe now though, since I heard they now have a harp player. If you're Celiac, you can request gluten-free pasta. Also, I think this is a place you might want to get dressed up a little for--it's kind of fancy. "

"In the brief break in the lockdown clouds in August I was able to sneak in my downsized, socially distanced garden birthday party. The one thing I really wanted was some lovely French accordion music and in Mike I found the perfect answer. He was friendly without being overbearing, his playing was absolutely spot on and he really added to and became part of the whole wonderful day - a day that was all the more special because of all the restrictions that had to be accommodated. And the sun shone! It will always be a very special day for me never to be forgotten and Mike provided the perfect theme tune for it. Thank you so much. "

"Max La Falce is an incredibly talented musician. I hired him for performances at our restaurant, providing accordion music for our dining customers and for an Italy themed private outdoor event for over 100 friends and family. His musical performances transform you to the rolling hills of Tuscany or to small cafe on the Amalfi Coast. His accordion talents make you want to sit back, relax and have a glass of wine and enjoy. I highly recommend him."
