"We were unable to get a violinist that we knew to play at my daughter’s wedding. We had a few recommendations from others and after a lot of searching I stumbled across the site for Up State strings. Jada was wonderful to work with and this was a pretty short notice need. She was great at communicating with me and made it super easy to book her for the wedding. Jada arrived and was set up early. She was very professional and did an outstanding job with the music we requested. Would use her again and highly recommend her and Up State strings. Thank you Jada "

Le conté lo que quería hacer y cuál era la canción favorita de mi novia y pude pedirle matrimonio mientras sonaba su canción favorita. Después, estuvo tocando varias canciones muy bonitas de su repertorio. Fue muy emocionante y bonito para los dos. "Michael was prompt and professional from the beginning! He quickly responded to my inquiry and sent over a detailed contract that made us so comfortable in trusting him to be our violinist for our wedding day. The event was a surprise, and Michael did a great job keeping it that way for us! :) He played a range from Frank Sinatra, to a song we requested from a personal favorite video game!!! If you are considering live music for your event, definitely put Michael at the top of your list!!!"

He was extremely flexible with our timeline and kept guest entertained while they awaited the fashionably late bride. "We worked with Stretto Quartet and would thoroughly recommend them for your wedding. They have a huge repertoire of classical and modern tracks that you can choose from to really carve out the vibe and personality you want for your day. They are also happy to consider other tracks and work with you to source other arrangements as you need. Dan was great at giving advice but also ensuring we made our own decision for the day as it was our wedding. Very easy to communicate with around the event logistics and payment as well. Overall a great experience!"

"Val was a big part in helping me surprise my girlfriend with a private performance, at which i proposed to her. This required a great deal of overseas correspondence to ensure everything went off without a hitch! Val arrived exactly on time and as we discussed. She played magnificently for us and was so instrumental (pun intended) in making the event as special as I had hoped and envisioned. Thanks Val for making our day and our trip so special!"
