"we booked Raphael and the Blue moon jazz band a year ahead for our wedding in Montalcino in September. Raphael was so professional and sweet all through our planning, and we didn’t have to worry about anything. At the wedding day they arrived and and just started to play in front of the guest at the reception. everyone loved it. they were so kind and joyful, and was playing for hours with the biggest smile. so romantic and perfect for our wedding. we just sat in the sun, drinking champagne, eating delicious food and listened to real italian jazz. it couldn’t have been more perfekt. So if you want real italian mood for your wedding, a over the top professional band and some talented musicians, you have to book The Blue Moon Jazz Trio. We loved it! "“Pearl” the music duo with Sheona and Serge have become a regular gig at the Mounties where they play in our lounge bar on Saturday evenings. With Sheona singing her tunes and Serge on keyboard and vocal backing, this couple have a great repertoire of songs that create a fun, relaxed atmosphere that keeps our guests entertained all night. Their passion for music shows in the following they have established with our staff and customers looking forward to their next gig with us every time. "Playing Live Band, what a wedding, absolutely beyond our expectations! What an incredible talent and energy from Liza the singer, also the band boys. Our guests couldn’t stop dancing! Great and professional band, absolutely smashed, and truly they made our special day even more magical. Recomend this band for shure. "I was at your performance last night at Holiday Acres, and I have to tell you that I was blown away by your band. It was fabulous. You guys were great and literally play every song perfectly. "Saxophones, a rhythm section and vocals, swinging like crazy – that’s the aptly named FIVE STAR SWING ! As saxophone section in any band, they would take some beating. Beautiful tones and well-rehearsed by their leader, Chris Smith (Jnr), who has the singular talent of playing the trumpet with his right hand and the piano with his left at one and the same time ! He also happens to be a very experienced music writer having learnt his trade with the National Youth Jazz Orchestra and Glenn Miller’s Brother, Herb. Add to the fact that he can also well handle a vocal, as can his wife, lead alto Simone Smith and tenor man Stephen Davies, who’s clarinet playing on “Sing, Sing, Sing” was superb – and it will give you some idea of the breadth of talent in this line-up. This is a band crying out to be danced to and it wasn’t long before the jivers took to the dance floor. Five Star Swing –a “must” for every dance club in the country."

"We cannot say how much we appreciate and enjoyed having both Alfie and Valentina at our wedding on the 19/08/23. At Il Casale Denari. The music choices were arranged in advance without any issue and on the day they pulled it off seamlessly!!! Arrghhh it was the best day ever and having live music at the crucial points of the day made it all the more perfect. They were brilliant"
