Review Centre: Party Bands

"My husband and I recently got married in Ostuni at Masseria Il Frantoio. When we began looking for music for the reception, jazz was on the top of our list. Blue Moon Jazz Band came highly recommended by our wedding planner and after hearing from her that they were able to keep a small intimate wedding dancing all night, I was sold. I love to dance and I was worried by having a smaller wedding we would miss out on that. Not the case at all! They learned the few pieces we wanted played for our ceremony and we gave them some suggestions for the reception, but left the rest up to them. They did not disappoint! We danced all night- even when it started to rain, they moved under an overhang so that they could continue the party! I highly recommend the Blue Moon Jazz Band for your wedding or event, I can’t say enough great things about them!! "

"Please could you pass on our sincere thanks to the band they were absolutely fantastic and everyone loved them. The music and their appearance was very accurate to the real thing.They arrived very early to set up and check everything was to perfection which immediately showed their professionalism. One thing which must not go unmentioned was the willingness of Melanie the manager of the band to help out through the night in any way she could to ensure a successful evening ., which is exactly what it was. "“The Ambassadors played during our wedding drinks reception, just after our ceremony. The music was fantastic and they were so lively and got everyone hyped for the day! It felt really celebratory to come out of the ceremony into amazing live music. All our guests were raving about them and I know several want to book them for their own events. The band were also really lovely to chat to and very friendly, they were super responsive to emails and checked in with us regularly leading up to the wedding day. Can't recommend them enough!” "

"I cannot speak enough praises when it comes to hiring the seven band for our wedding. My husband and I booked them about a year and a half in advance, and when covid hit, we had to change our entire plans to accommodate a smaller backyard wedding. The seven band worked so closely with us and helped make sure everything worked out perfectly with all the schedule/location changes. By the end of the night, all 125 of our guests were asking for their info! We even had the neighborhood next to us speak highly of the band on their community watch facebook page! The atmosphere would have been completely different if it weren't for the seven band. They made our wedding day even that more perfect. BOOK THEM!"

"There are songs that just stand out because they are so different from everything out there. “Stay Down Kat”, by The Unknowns, is definitely one of those songs. There’s a suave, jazzy, bluesy feel to this song, with great lead and backing vocals. It’s sultry, sensual, mysterious, and controlled, yet it has its powerful moments. And who can resist a great sax solo? Those things will draw you in, and soon The Unknowns will be known. They are Kim Bowman (vocals, piano), Caitie Bowel (vocals, guitars), Allison Bowman (vocals, ukulele), Sarah Yates (acoustic bass), and Melanie Sehman (drums) "
