"Ian was fantastic from start to finish. I've seen him in action at local venues previously and knew he would be the perfect choice for my wedding. From the minute I booked him he was a massive help, including managing to find us a Saxophonist with only a couple of weeks notice. On the day of the wedding we had him right from the start of ceremony and he made sure to take the pressure off and deal with any issues we had including sorting out the moving of lighting etc when I decided it needed to change location halfway through the night. My guests loved him and he had them up dancing before the main courses had even been served. The music he played was perfect and he even included some wedding guests in the entertainment by providing instruments for them to play (well fake play thank god). Ian made sure to include the music I had requested previously and we had a great time doing some entertaining group dances. Thanks to Ian I have some amazing photos of everyone up dancing, laughing and enjoying themselves. I would definitely recommend him to anyone and we will be wanting him to play at future family events for us. Thank you so much Ian for making our day that bit more fun and memorable. "When searching for a band for our wedding in Italy we came across The Waistcoats and after watching many videos and reading through all the reviews we made contact. The first email from Paul immediately put us at ease and we decided to book them. Throughout the lead up to the wedding, we had a few different requests (speakers for ceremony and microphones for speeches) all which were agreed to with no problem at all! On the day they arrived with plenty of time and had a calm presence and were easy to deal with. They are very experienced and knew what to do without having to be told, which kept us super relaxed. For both parts of the day The Waistcoats played aperitifs and after dinner. They understood what to play and created a fantastic atmosphere. All our guests did not stop dancing even during the aperitifs there was dancing. We also pushed forward the first dance and this was no problem. We had lots of ‘experienced’ wedding guests who exclaimed: “best wedding band ever”! And we also truly believe that too! We can’t thank you enough for everything you did to make our day so very special! Thank you! Ciaran and Charlie"

"We were overjoyed! Karla Ruiz gave a super romantic touch to the ceremony, with vocals and guitar. As well as their repertoire, they prepared the two songs that we requested for our entrances and the result was spectacular. Their accompaniment to the cocktail was incredible, finishing their set with some lively rumbas before we moved on to the banquet. The guests absolutely enjoyed their performance and were enthralled by the vocals and guitar! Very friendly and professional, we were delighted to hire them, we would recommend them 100%!"
