Review Centre: Dance Bands

"We hired Head Over Heels for our wedding this past August and they were amazing to work with! We received compliments through the night and the days after our wedding about how good they sounded and how they kept everyone dancing through the night! They played a range of songs and interacted with our guests coming out onto the dance floor and making sure the energy was up! We had a lot of fun activities planned throughout our reception such as hula hooping and a table dash for photos they were fun, flexible, and accommodated all of our requests. We had our ceremony on the beach and the band leader came to the beach to make sure the sound and microphone worked! I can't recommend them enough! There is nothing like a live band and Head Over Heels delivers!!"

"Great band, great music, great repertoire, great fun! Thanks to all the guys the band for a wonderful afternoon filled with great entertainment. "Final Edition were the entertainment at my wedding in May 2019. The wedding was at the Salt Rock Hotel In Ballito, North Coast of Kwazulu Natal. The band agreed to travel a long distance. The wedding was a great success and the band was on form and very professional. The hotel management asked if they would relocate to Ballito as they wanted to book them for hotel functions !"

"As the groom, I got to choose the band. I had heard Lisa and The E-lusion at my now-wife's sorority formal, and knew what my first choice would be. Besides being a genuinely talented band, The-Elusion are accommodating. With their extensive playlist of both traditional wedding reception songs and more recent pop, we were able to say which songs we did not want them to play, while Lisa does a great job of playing whatever the audience is grooving. Also, they were willing to learn entirely new songs for our first dance, the father-daughter dance, and mother-son dance. We received tons of complements about the band from our guests. "The band of our heart! I was afraid my wedding didn't have the right entertainment, I heard many bands, watched dozens and dozens of videos, scrutinized endless playlists and I wasn't involved! That was until we ran into OverFunk.. Pure magic! The understanding was immediate .. they are professional, fun and creative. At the wedding, adults, children and stones danced! They have been able to involve everyone .. even the owners of the location have come to compliment us on the choice and I know they will want to continue collaborating with them!
