Photo of pipe major Nick MacVicar pipe major Nick MacVicar "Nick, you're a scholar and a gentleman. Everyone that met you had nothing but good things to say, and you giving us extra time for the city center was really really appreciated. (As was the plaid; legend) We genuinely hope we meet again, your vibe was spectacular. Talk to you soon man. Thanks again" Based in Florence, Tuscany, Italy (10,041 miles from Brisbane) 29th September 2026 Ciaran & Guilaine - Wedding in Tuscany Photo of Iron Broo Ceilidh Band Iron Broo Ceilidh Band "A Perfect Wedding Band! When I proposed to my now wife back in 2017, I was adamant that we would have a great ceilidh band for the wedding, showing my new Hungarian family a true taste of Scottish culture whilst having a great time. When I saw the advert for Iron Broo and how they were ranked one of the top ceilidh bands in the area I was sceptical at first having never heard them play. Then I was invited to a wedding that they played 4 months prior to my own: after hearing their 3 piece I knew my wedding would be in safe hands! All through the buildup to the day Charlie was a great help, using his knowledge and experience to advise how to run the evening - he even transcribed a bagpipe tune for my great grandfather to play on the night! On the day, the band were outstanding! Despite a small wedding the band with their charm and wit managed to get people up to dance and put on a tremendous show! The personal touches were carefully noted as the Orcadian Strip the Willow’s music was even tailored to incorporate Hungarian folk music that put a big smile on the new in-laws faces! I could not recommend Iron Broo more to play at any function, they really are what they advertise and will now need to create an event just to have them back! Forever grateful. Mr and Mrs Borthwick." It would be an hounour to have you visit our town (for your next concert). Thanks for giving my daughter and myself a wonderful memory." Based in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada (10,100 miles from Brisbane) 8th May 2026 Liz T. - "Catherine's Cello" Concert Photo of Triskelt Triskelt "It was such an absolute pleasure to have you all be such an amazing part of our special day. The guests loved you (and so do we, still). You've been amazing from start to finish, from planning to the big day itself! We highly recommend Triskelt! 10/10" Based in Antwerp, Flanders, Belgium (10,123 miles from Brisbane) 15th September 2026 Janna & Sidène - Private Wedding Photo of Annasach Ceilidh Band Annasach Ceilidh Band "The Annasach Ceilidh Band made the evening of our wedding in The Netherlands unforgettable, motivating Dutch and French feet alike to dance the Scottish steps. Even my 62-year-old aunt was on her feet all evening and remarked at the end that from now on, she only wants Scottish weddings. The band also dealt very professionally with some unforeseen circumstances, rebooking their own flights when their original flights were cancelled, taking a lot of stress away from us. I will happily recommend them for any wedding or party in Scotland or abroad, and look forward to visiting one of their Ceilidhs in Edinburgh when we next find ourselves there!" Based in Edinburgh, Scotland, United Kingdom (10,143 miles from Brisbane) Barbara - Wedding Photo of Ted Christopher Ted Christopher "Brilliant night’s entertainment. Ted knows how to play to the crowd and can vary his sets based on who’s there and the crowds response." Based in Stirling, Scotland, United Kingdom (10,153 miles from Brisbane) Bruce Miller - Party night.
