Live jazz groups bring a polished, adaptable sound to weddings and events near you. These professional musicians handle everything from soft background music during dinner to high-energy dance sets, adjusting their repertoire and volume to suit your venue and occasion. Most jazz acts offer flexible lineup sizes, so a trio that plays your cocktail hour can expand to a quintet or larger group for the evening.
The most popular format is a three or four-piece jazz group for wedding receptions and corporate functions, with a classic combination of piano or guitar, bass, drums and sometimes saxophone or vocals. Smaller duos work well for ceremonies and intimate settings, while larger ensembles with brass and dedicated vocalists suit bigger venues and dance-focused events. Many jazz musicians locally also offer themed sets, including 1920s Gatsby-era jazz, bossa nova, and modern pop songs rearranged in a swing style.
Jazz bands in Split currently range from €170 for smaller ensembles to €2,050+ for larger groups or extended performances, with an average booking cost of €600. Price typically reflects the number of musicians, set length, travel requirements, and any custom arrangements. Trios and quartets offer good value for most events, while full big band setups command a higher fee but deliver a richer, more dynamic sound.
The average price for Jazz Bands available in Split, Split-Dalmatia, Croatia is €600 (EUR). Above you will also find a budget price and high end price. Contact the supplier you like for an accurate quote.
Julia Hornung & Collectif Django
"A wonderful performance that truly elevated our event. The band brought a sophisticated yet relaxed vibe, and many guests commented on how much they enjoyed the music. We would highly recommend them; super reliable, communicative and kind :)"
Jokebox
"Quando ho invitato a Sandrigo i JokeBox Quartet sapevo che erano bravi,ma devo dire che sono stati super!
La cantante fantastica ma tutti veramente splendidi"
Marcella Jones & Brown Liquor Band
"I've seen them perform twice and they put on a great show! They have not disappointed. The lead singer, Marcella, is a lot of fun."
Jon Rebbeck
"Jon was amazing! We initially hired Jon for our welcome party and asked for “Ibiza, easy-going vibes.” He completely delivered, creating the perfect atmosphere and getting everyone into the mood.
But Jon really became the MVP of our wedding weekend when our band had to cancel on the morning of our wedding due to nearby wildfire evacuations. Our planner called Jon, and he immediately agreed to step in that same evening.
He played alongside our DJ, seamlessly creating an incredible atmosphere and getting the dance floor started within minutes. Despite having never met our DJ and having very little time to prepare, he was completely professional and delivered a fantastic performance.
Jon truly saved the day and gave us the live music we had dreamed of for our wedding. We’ll always be grateful for him stepping in at such short notice. We couldn’t recommend Jon highly enough!"
Pausa Caffè
"Pausa Caffè were a wonderful addition to our event. Their music was elegant, refined and perfectly suited to the atmosphere of Parole in Sila. The combination of beautiful vocals and piano created a warm and engaging atmosphere without ever overpowering the event. They were professional, well organised and a pleasure to work with. We would definitely recommend them for cultural events and special occasions."
Beat-Route
""Dear Daniel
Thank you for your email, much appreciated. Just got back to the office in Knysna!
Once again, it was great to work with Beat-Route and oh my word, Thobeka has a stunning voice. I’m so pleased that Jenny decided to book her.
Should you ever need a reference to any prospective client, let me know, I’d be more than happy to provide one. I would have loved having a band of your calibre in the Garden Route, and in the Cape Town area.
Thank you again for another very successful event.
All the very best, until the next time!"
