"Rippin Riffs! Honkin'Harmonica! Pretty realistic drums. Plenty of volume to fill any honky-tonk on the pike. Puts his heart into keeping it lively. Never takes a break! Not even between songs! Gotta see to believe! "

"We cannot thanks Denis enough for providing such an amazing evening for us and our guests. He had asked if we wanted to create a playlist or if we had any special requests prior to the event, but we both love to be a bit spontaneous. We gave him a free rein on music choice asking him to "read the room & play to the crowd" so to speak… and he certainly did that and much much more! He kept our guests engaged & involved throughout and friends were talking about it in the weeks to follow. We just can’t praise this wonderful man enough. Thank you so very much Denis! For anyone looking for a Dj for any occasion we 100% we would recommend Denis Cook ❤️ Simone Bentley, "

"Non possiamo che ringraziare Brian & Serena per la loro disponibilità e la loro professionalità: sono stati la colonna sonora perfetta per il nostro matrimonio! Grandi voci, repertorio vastissimo. Hanno anche suonato dal vivo la nostra canzone! Consigliatissimi! We can only thank Brian & Serena for their helpfulness and professionalism-they were the perfect soundtrack for our wedding! Great voices, huge repertoire. They even played our song live! Highly recommended!"

Found by chance while surfing the internet, we got in touch by phone and it felt like we were talking to friends! From the moment we saw each other, we found very kind, very nice guys and ready to fulfill our wishes! Throughout the cocktail hour in the garden they sang getting all the songs right for us and the atmosphere, and without them, during the ceremony and dinner we couldn't have done it! Special guys!"

"Denis Cook is the perfect pub and bar-room entertainer: genial, charming and chatty with a charismatic personality, so it's not surprising that the sumptuous Haven Wine Bar & Restaurant in Whetstone booked Denis for several gigs, since he's the ideal 'mine host' for this exclusive venue, encouraging the guests to join in and have a fun time. With many strings to his bow, in addition to singing Denis plays guitar, mandolin, ukulele, harmonica and kazoo, but his greatest claim to fame is that he taught his nephew Norman Cook, alias Fatboy Slim, to DJ! (Denis has been 'spinning discs' since 1969 and the young Norman was soon hooked on music too!) Though perhaps not the greatest instrumentalist to perform on stage, Denis more than makes up for this with his highly tuneful singing voice, careful selection of material and infectious personality. Skill and experience gained through years of DJing shines through in Denis's easy command of banter between numbers, putting many other pub acts to shame, and his sheer dedication to entertaining others certainly evidenced in this three-hour gig undertaken with hardly a break. Starting with the Eagles' country ditty "Peaceful Easy Feeling" and a stripped-down version of the Foundations' "Baby Now That I've Found You" guests knew they were in for something special, loving the laid-back, peaceful easy listening style and the fact that the music was at a very reasonable volume: no blasting speakers here! Then, after just three songs, self-accompanied by guitar, Denis popped out his mandolin for a very enjoyable rendition of the Kinks' "Tired Of Waiting For You" and Steve Earle's Irish classic "Galway Girl" before switching to the ukulele for a charming interpretation of McFly's wistful "Love Is Easy" but, in addition, you'll find plenty of variety in Denis's act, ranging from party numbers like the Mavericks' "Dance The Night Away" and Roxy Music's "Let's Stick Together" to country classics such as Glen Campbell's "Rhinestone Cowboy" and John Denver's "Take Me Home Country Roads" to up-to-date material like George Ezra's catchy "Budapest" as well as some good old rock 'n roll. And - how many performers would be brave enough to attempt Rupert Holmes' excellent "Escape" (The Pina Colada Song); the late Ronnie Lane's rocking "Ooh La La" or Billy Ray Cyrus' witty comedy number "Where Am I Gonna Live?!" Mr Cook will be returning to the Haven soon and my advice is that you might want to reserve a table, since the place is likely to be well be packed in anticipation of this great entertainer. "Luis was excellent - great music, great vibe, great personality - he stayed later and we had a great vibe with him. One piece of advice is he should look into getting Paypal or Venmo for payments :) Thanks very much"

"Armed with a whole case of Blues Harps and one or two trusty Guitars, Harmonica always provides a brilliant few hours of musical entertainment. He's become a firm favourite in the Cole household and we aren't ashamed to say we've become groupies, following him across London to venues just like this. He seems to have an almost infinite amount of songs in his repertoire, ranging from Cockney classics to Country ballads and lots more besides. Your feet begin to tap the moment he starts his set and by the end you've normally ground a hole into the pub carpet! Thoroughly recommended!"

"The Distance literally blew my mind. 2 extremely talented people playing live music you would normally need 12 members to perform live. Not only are they amazing musicians, wait till you hear their vocal talents! Absolutely amazing! Highly recommended :)"

"Fantastic performance! Andrew provided an outstanding musical experience for our three-hour downtown art event. He arrived promptly, handled setup and teardown efficiently, and most importantly, delivered an exceptional set that perfectly matched the atmosphere we envisioned—relaxed, fun, and engaging. His ability to read the crowd and maintain the right energy throughout was impressive. We look forward to working with Andrew again in the near future."

"This was the second occasion it's been my pleasure to watch Harmonica Lewinsky at the Green Dragon and certainly won't be the last. The venue itself is a good old-fashioned local that, unlike many in the area, hasn't been gentrified but is cosy, friendly and intimate. The trio were absolutely brilliant, put smiles on the faces of everyone present and there was much foot-tapping and singing-along. I look forward to the next time."

"We had Love Affaire Duo (Brian and his wife Serena) play at our welcome party for our wedding weekend in Tuscany. They were absolutely fantastic!! Both of them were incredibly talented, their performance was beautiful, and just lovely people to work with to help make this really personal for us. Our guests also loved their music! They were very easy to communicate with, always able to jump on a video call or speak via whatsapp. Both speaking fluent English. They arrived well in advance of the start time and did all of their own setup very quickly/smoothly. Great selection of songs for all tastes. We'd highly recommended them for any parties or weddings! Thank you both for making our wedding extra special! "

"Luís was hired for a surprise proposal. He was part of the surprise and played in a chapel in Palácio da Penha in Sintra city with his harmonica and guitar. His interpretation of Bob Dylan and the Beatles' song was fantastic. The bride said yes ❤️"
