"Brian & Serena were FANTASTIC!!! We hired them to play at my wedding welcome party on a rooftop in Florence. They are amazingly talented, communication was great and they showed up early. I would recommend them to anyone for an event!!! Thank you so much for making our welcome party so special! "

"We hired Drew to play at our wedding this past fall. We met Drew previously from the Harris Teeter Tavern in Nexton. Every time he played there, he had us singing along. He is an awesome guitarist and also a great harmonica player too. His voice accompanies many songs perfectly and even better when he pulls out the harmonica. If you like a wide range of music from new or old I recommend hiring him for your next event. You and your guests won’t be disappointed!"

"My wife and I popped along to see the popular Denis Cook's solo gig. Along with his regular set songs like: "Budapest" by George Ezra, an acoustic version of The Foundations "Baby Now That I’ve Found You", Neil Diamond's "Love On The Rocks" and "Sweet Caroline", even Chas & Dave's "Rabbit" Denis establishes a good rapport with his audience, some of whom are obviously regular fans, so there was plenty of joking, repartee and crowd participation during this gig which was played to a packed house and which saw Denis strumming guitar, ukulele, mandolin and blowing some decent harmonica too. Denis has learnt his craft well and along with his affable manner and fine vocal renditions which made for a very pleasant evening. (For those who may not already know, this talented man is also a well-respected DJ!) In any event, we had intended to stay only a short while but ended up staying put for a full, enjoyable 3 hours and although I didn't count, I'm told Denis played 52 songs in this extended set!"

"Andrew was absolutely awesome! He was perfect for our event and is a great musician. Throughout the night, guests kept commenting on how great the music was. He was also very easy to communicate with, was early to set up, and very friendly. We will definitely try to get him again when we have another event."

"I have to say that I was very happy that I hired Jeff for my event. Jeff was early, professional, set up shop and played for hours with a great variety of song choices. Since our event was spread around a large area, it was fun to hear Jeff's singing as I went from one area to another in the afternoon. He certainly kept the crowd entertained and relaxed... I would definitely hire Jeff again! "

"We cannot thanks Denis enough for providing such an amazing evening for us and our guests. He had asked if we wanted to create a playlist or if we had any special requests prior to the event, but we both love to be a bit spontaneous. We gave him a free rein on music choice asking him to "read the room & play to the crowd" so to speak… and he certainly did that and much much more! He kept our guests engaged & involved throughout and friends were talking about it in the weeks to follow. We just can’t praise this wonderful man enough. Thank you so very much Denis! "The Distance played at our companies 10th anniversary event. We absolutely loved them and have had comments from both staff and clients since the event. They really made our night unique. They were professional, kept in contact (we even booked them at really short notice and they were so SO helpful!), and honestly just made the night special. Fantastic at their craft, the loveliest and most down to earth people, worked around speeches etc. Highly recommend! Thanks Soph and Mat! "
