"How do I get across how good this band is. Everyone is so talented. And the lead singer has a talent and a charisma that is unique, real and wholly impressive. His voice is so genuine and so pleasantly different. Lead guitar dude rips. Just absolutely rips. Rhythm section crushed it at full groove level. Drummer is crisp and on it , bass is always on point. The woman on tambourine added such a nice flavor. Hired for an outside town event. Everyone loved the band. Everybody. It’s a no brainer"

"I still cannot believe we met The Distance at Janine's party and that they were able to make Fran’s 60th Birthday celebrations last Saturday 10 May 2014 & made his dream of having live music at his party come true. Matt & Sophiee, you were so accommodating and fitted perfectly into our home. All our 80+ guests of family & friends of all ages loved your music and danced the night away. "Trovati per caso navigando su internet, ci siamo sentiti telefonicamente ed è sembrato di parlare con degli amici! Dal momento che ci siamo visti, abbiamo trovato dei ragazzi gentilissimi, simpaticissimi e pronti ad esaudire i nostri desideri! Per tutto l'aperitivo in giardino hanno cantato azzeccando tutte le canzoni adatte a noi e all'atmosfera, e senza di loro, durante la cerimonia e la cena non ce l'avremmo fatta! "The Distance played at our companies 10th anniversary event. We absolutely loved them and have had comments from both staff and clients since the event. They really made our night unique. They were professional, kept in contact (we even booked them at really short notice and they were so SO helpful!), and honestly just made the night special. Fantastic at their craft, the loveliest and most down to earth people, worked around speeches etc. Highly recommend! Thanks Soph and Mat! "

"Soph & Matt played for our wedding in September and were absolutely fantastic! Not only did they include songs we had requested for the playlist but knew how to play perfectly for the crowd. All guests loved them, from our 5 year old cousins and friends in their twenties to parents and my 80 year old nan-in-law. The dance floor was never empty - I can testify that all dancers never stopped moving. I want to thank Soph & Matt for making our wedding reception, it was truly amazing and guests are still talking about them nearly 5 months on. An awesome wedding band!"

"This was Phil's third visit to the Hammer as Harmonica Lewinsky. He never fails to entertain the locals with his cockney act and great humour. As the landlord of the Hammer I can honestly say this guy is amazing and really great value...so much so we have booked Phil to return again for St. Georges day celebrations on Sunday 26th april."

"We had Love Affaire Duo (Brian and his wife Serena) play at our welcome party for our wedding weekend in Tuscany. They were absolutely fantastic!! Both of them were incredibly talented, their performance was beautiful, and just lovely people to work with to help make this really personal for us. Our guests also loved their music! They were very easy to communicate with, always able to jump on a video call or speak via whatsapp. Both speaking fluent English. They arrived well in advance of the start time and did all of their own setup very quickly/smoothly. Great selection of songs for all tastes. We'd highly recommended them for any parties or weddings! Thank you both for making our wedding extra special! "
