"This was Phil's third visit to the Hammer as Harmonica Lewinsky. He never fails to entertain the locals with his cockney act and great humour. As the landlord of the Hammer I can honestly say this guy is amazing and really great value...so much so we have booked Phil to return again for St. Georges day celebrations on Sunday 26th april."

"We hired Brian & Serena to play at our wedding welcome party and I cannot recommend them enough. From the first communication, they were super friendly and easy to work with. And their performance on the night completely blew our expectations - they were just fantastic. I cannot recommend them enough - thank you Brian & Serena for making our special day even more special! "I'm a bit late writing this review but me and my wife had The Distance for our wedding on the 4th April, they were absolutely fantastic such a good band got everyone up and dancing. They were able to cover a wide range of songs there is something for everyone. Our 1st dance song the killers Mr brightside one word wow, prefer the distance accoustic version over the original if you need a band then book the distance you will not be disappointed."

"The Distance literally blew my mind. 2 extremely talented people playing live music you would normally need 12 members to perform live. Not only are they amazing musicians, wait till you hear their vocal talents! Absolutely amazing! Highly recommended :)"

"We hired Paul and his band, Pan Island Jam to play at our wedding last year. They have an extensive library of songs and even learnt a couple of kiwi classics for us which brought the house down and got everyone up on their feet! Great energy and if we need a band again in Singapore, we know exactly where to look. Thanks guys"

"Non possiamo che ringraziare Brian & Serena per la loro disponibilità e la loro professionalità: sono stati la colonna sonora perfetta per il nostro matrimonio! Grandi voci, repertorio vastissimo. Hanno anche suonato dal vivo la nostra canzone! Consigliatissimi! We can only thank Brian & Serena for their helpfulness and professionalism-they were the perfect soundtrack for our wedding! Great voices, huge repertoire. They even played our song live! Highly recommended!"

"I'm so glad we booked Denis for my mums 80th party, it absolutely made our day. Not only did everyone love the music, Denis had taken the time to think about what age my mum would have been on each song and walked us through her years hitting milestones such as her 18th and 21st etc. It was such a great touch. "Harmonica Lewinsky, half musician, half comedian, can't be filed easily under any one genre. There are no "rawk" anthems or jangly pop toons to guide you to a familiar sense of comfy numbness you may well be used to in your local music venue. Instead, you get a proper show. Someone - that's Phil Leiwy, crazy alchemist of alter-ego Lewinsky - has taken it upon himself to create a crisp set of upbeat, rhythmic gems played on guitar (choppy, jazzy, mellow), vocals (smooth, welcoming) and of course, a boxload of harmonicas (swanky, tuneful, engaging). But words alone seem unable to explain why, after a HL gig, you go home feeling as if you have been crane-lifted out of a ditch... If you haven't seen HL play, go and see for yourself, and let the performance into your life. Careful listening really helps: the lyrics to many of Phil's songs - including Gordon Brown (to the tune of the Stranglers' "Golden Brown") - are wry, clever and occasionally rude. Lovers of X-Factor stability or other social brainwashing techniques may leave feeling confused."

"We cannot thanks Denis enough for providing such an amazing evening for us and our guests. He had asked if we wanted to create a playlist or if we had any special requests prior to the event, but we both love to be a bit spontaneous. We gave him a free rein on music choice asking him to "read the room & play to the crowd" so to speak… and he certainly did that and much much more! He kept our guests engaged & involved throughout and friends were talking about it in the weeks to follow. We just can’t praise this wonderful man enough. Thank you so very much Denis! For anyone looking for a Dj for any occasion we 100% we would recommend Denis Cook ❤️ Simone Bentley, "
