"Thank you again for the wonderful evening/night of music. Everybody loved the band and I’ve heard a few music lovers say it was the best swing band they have ever seen. The band and yourself have made an ever lasting impression with everyone. The intro was fantastic and definitely started the evening off with a bang. Katie and I thank you for our first dance it was more perfect than we could have imagined. I can not express our appreciation enough to you and the band. You guys made the evening a brilliant success and are true professionals."

"Dan and his band was amazing I threw my wife a surprise 10 year cancer remission party and found Dan Olivo on GigSalad. Soon as I talked to him I knew he was the right person for this special event. He definitely provided a memorable night and was the highlight of the party. I would recommend him without any reservations and can't wait to see him perform again."

"The band to have at a wedding We couldn’t have asked for a better band for our wedding! Everyone loved and praised Laura’s voice and performance, as well as the band’s energy! They were with us the entire afternoon (ceremony, cocktail, and dinner party) and were tireless and super flexible with the timings! A special thank you to Laura for all the help on the day, which we really appreciated! The band to choose for any wedding – they will not disappoint! "

"It is said that the largest portion of a bride’s budget should be directed towards entertainment. I am a living witness that investing in your entertainment is crucial. Even more so, the RIGHT type of entertainment. Andrew Thielen Big Band band was the right choice for my Thanksgiving eve wedding. Let’s be honest, in this day and age it’s a challenge to find professional entertainment that soothes the soul and inspires. Andrew Thielen Big Band did that and then some. Hear me when I tell you, this band ROCKED the house. They added the air of class and sophistication that I so desired. Not only were they amazing to engage, the quality of music was second to none. Their sound is PHENOMENAL. I almost shied away from hiring them because I only had 75 invited guests. I was concerned that their larger than life sound would overtake us. My Gosh was I was wrong. Their larger than life sound brought the funk, soul, jazz and pizazz that kept my guests on the dance floor until the very end. We laughed, we cried and bonded with the band in a way that brought us together as family. Every time that I reflect on them playing, You’re the Best Thing That Ever Happened to Me (Gladys Knight) I tear up. Andrew went out of his way to make our wedding reception a night to remember. Thank you! ♥️??? The soloist we’re incredible! And y’all, let’s just say, COME THROUGH HORNS! Readers, if you’re harboring ANY doubt, release it and hire this band. It is my desire and promise to bring them in for all of my future events. Many blessings to the Andrew Thielen Big Band! "

"Mr Swing’s Dance Orchestra made our wedding! We thought our special day couldn’t get any better after we exchanged our vows and heard the kind words from our family but, as soon as we heard the music, I knew that the band would leave an impact on our guests. I did not stop dancing all night! We truly enjoyed every moment of the band’s set and all our guests have commented on how wonderful they were. Really wish we could have had them longer. I want to say a heartfelt thank you to Matthew and the rest of the band for making our wedding magical. All our love, Mr & Mrs Colbeck."

"Georg played at our wedding on Saturday 24th May 2025. Overall, he was excellent and everyone attended love the music! Booking via Gig Heaven was easy and Georg was easy to reach and to align on what music we wanted. On the day, we extended the session by a full 1.5 hours as everyone was having a great time! I would fully recommend Georg, he made our evening even more special with his excellent choice of music and quality of play. Thank you Georg!"

" When we set about choosing our nighttime entertainment for our wedding ceremony we wanted a band that would appeal to all, with a sense of fun - to get people up and dancing. We watched you on YouTube and read your reviews, it all seemed quite good. Your energy - live, on stage - was even better than we expected. We were also very impressed by your professionalism throughout the booking process and on the night itself. Judging by the numbers on the dance floor, I'd say the night was a success! "Please will you pass on our thanks to all members of Mr Swing’s Dance Orchestra. We have such good memories of our friends having a great time when the swing band was playing and loads of people have been in touch to say how much they enjoyed the music. We really hope to see you perform again in the North West but until then we shall continue enjoying listening to the CD – it has enlivened every car journey since we returned from honeymoon. Many thanks once again."
