"We can't thank Andy enough for playing at my Grandads funeral last week. When choosing somebody to book for the funeral it was the positive comments of Andy from other people that led us to booking him and we don't have a single regret. He followed up the quote request with a phonecall and explained everything, answering all the questions we had and he was so helpful and positive, his experience honestly shone through and we booked him the very next day. Andy was great with communications up to the day of the funeral and everything went as planned and smoothly too. Those attending the funeral also commented on how great the bagpiper was and what a special touch he had added to my Grandads send off. Andy was flexible in what music he could play as we asked for 2 Irish songs not on his playlist and he played them beautifully on the day. He was very reassuring about everything and we would definitely highly recommend him to any event you may be considering a bagpiper for, the professionalism was on point. We have deep Scotch-Irish heritage in our family - hearing Dave play the classics so beautifully in the church and later at the cemetery provided a great sense of comfort for my family on this emotional day. "When we enquired if Andrew would be available for my Father's funeral, i was extremly impressed by the personal empathy he has shown in making sure the music was as we would like. I cannot explain the emotions experienced in having Andrew pipe my Father's Hurst arriving to the crematorium , my Father would have loved every second. The sound was pitch perfect, a credit to a true musician, every note resonated true feelings, for which I cannot thank Andrew enough. You only have one chance to say goodbye, and I wouldn't want anyone other than Andrew as my piper to portray those emotions. (10 / 10) Liz Gordon"

"Professional Bagpipper I was browsing the site and low and behold I saw a great bagpiper that serves the Kansas Honor Flight here in Wichita, KS. Mr. John Bierens. Mr. Bierens is well known in this part of the country. When it comes time for the Kansas Honor Flight returning veterans to get their WELCOME HOME, the sound of the pipes played by Mr. Bierens is what most folks around here call the "SOUND OF FREEDOM". Mr. Bierens is a great master of the pipes but he also dresses for the occasion. It's a perfect mix of the sound of the pipes and the uniform he wears that makes the atmosphere so patriotic. Mr. Bierens leads the procession of 100+ Kansas veterans through what we call our Patriotic Gauntlet to their waiting families. Mr. Bierens is a great BAGPIPER!! The Kansas Honor Flight has done 93 flights and I think Mr. Bierens was the first bagpiper we used and has been with him ever since. Can't go wrong when you use the best! "Robert was a fantastic addition to our wedding, and added a unique element that will absolutely be remembered by the attendees. He was a pleasure to work with before the event, played the bagpipes amazingly well (a friend is a series bagpiper and he noted that Robert was very talented), and accommodated music and picture requests thus making sure everyone was thrilled. I would 100% recommend Robert for any bagpipe events! = Andy B."

He spent so much time ensuring he understood exactly what kind of performance I wanted and even learnt a brand new song that I asked him to play.
