Review Centre: Party Bands

"We recently celebrated our Golden Wedding Anniversary at Leicester Tigers Stadium, who said they could book a band for us. Shortly before the event, we got in touch with Eric, and provided the Band with a playlist. The Party was an early evening do, going on 'til late, so after serving the buffet, we decided to start with a “children's half hour” to keep the youngsters busy. We chose the Okey Kokey, which even the little ones know as they learn it at playgroups nowadays, then went on to the Birdie Song, Let's do The Twist, Locomotion, and a few more which the children thoroughly enjoyed, but that did not stop them from continuing with the adults into the “back to the 60's, 70's, etc.” and ever onwards, to current charts - with lots of great classics. The Band delivered all the songs very well, and everybody was amazed at how both Eric and Richard Ryan sounded so close to the originals. We have had lots of great comments from the party goers too, saying how much they enjoyed themselves. Truly lovely people, and we would thoroughly recommend them for your party or other event. "Fantastic Band. Absolutely brilliant band, they had everyone up dancing from start to finish. I couldn't thank them enough for helping make our wedding night the best of our lives. From the moment we booked them, they were amazing, giving us advice on timings etc. It was such an easy process, they liaised with the venue so we didn't have to stress at all. "The Trends played at our wedding in May. We wanted a band and found The Trends through recommendations on Facebook. For our first dance they performed an acoustic version of N Trance ‘only love can set you free’ this went down a storm and we were blown away with how incredible this sounded. The dance floor was packed all night, all our guests commented how amazing the band were. I would highly recommend The Trends. We are looking forward to seeing you very soon. "Sass Monkey is amazing! They are excellent communicators, organized, professional, and, most importantly, fantastic musicians! They put on a wonderful 40th anniversary celebration for our parents and we cannot say enough great things about them! They played an outstanding variety of music— all genres and all decades! "The Latin Formula were really brilliant, they know how to get the crowd involved while enjoying themselves. Our guests had great fun and many of them commented on how good the three musicians were. They arrived on time, and they were thoroughly professional and polite. We loved their repertoire. They sang in Spanish but also in English, which was great. They played very well known pop classics in their own style. Their show is perfect for weddings and all types of parties. I would recommend them to anyone. Our memories are lovely. Thank you very much!"

"We hired The Session Band for our wedding in Devon. They were brilliant throughout the whole process from enquiry, to booking, to performing. Before the booking, they also gave us other options to add on if we wanted. Once we booked, they sent over their website with their library of songs. We picked a few we liked and they then built their set from that. They also agreed to play our first dance song that we requested. The band were great when they arrived and were accommodating with us as we were slightly behind schedule. Our guests absolutely loved the band and we had so many positive comments from them. In between the band sets we also went for the DJ and Saxophone option, which were great at getting people dancing towards the end of the night. Overall a brilliant experience and I’d recommend them to anyone looking for a wedding band."
