"Excellent in all areas! Help and advice was willing given prior to our event. On the evening, the band arrived on time and set up quickly and efficiently. Their music was very professional, and the caller was very good indeed - he got everyone up and dancing, laughing and having a great time. Feedback from those who came to our Ceilidh was brilliant. I would thoroughly recommend this band. Louise Cooper, Events Manager, Grantham Canal Society"

"Brock and Toni were absolutely wonderful. Our wedding guests arrived to the heart warming sounds of Brock and Toni playing an amazing Wedding Tune! It was deeply moving and spirit felt by all. Toni's welcoming smile and gentle calming spirit was present on the phone, texts and day of. She helped out on so many levels! What a great way to set the tone for our daughter's wedding. The professionalism, talent and fun personalities of this couple will never be forgotten. We were truly blessed to have found them, and I recommend them wholeheartedly and without reservation. "A2 Barn Dance provided a reel party for our daughter's 18th birthday party - what a night it was! They were very friendly and professional from the booking stage all the way through to the last note. They quickly realised our level of proficiency on the night and adapted their playing accordingly. In addition to being consummate musicians, they are really pleasant to deal with and supportive. I thoroughly recommend them."

"Booked the Brogues for our wedding and they couldn't have been more accommodating. Excellent band who helped out with anything we needed - including throwing in a few slow dances for a very pregnant bridesmaid! We and all our guests had a fabulous time. If you book The Brogues you won't regret it!"

"The Blags played at our wedding recently in Lichfield, they had travelled up from London especially. We were really impressed with their set and talent. I would highly recommend for an occasion. All our guests commented on how fantastic they sounded. So happy we booked them."

"Bob Ferguson concert, 11. Sept. 2019 Our association organizes, among other things, traditional concerts, especially regional music of Low German culture. Scottish and Celtic music corresponds to this program much. Bob Ferguson gave us with his music insights and impressions into the everyday life of Scottish life. In his ballads, he sang about love, wanderlust, the landscape and the sea. He entertained the audience wonderfully, walked through the rows of spectators and encouraged everyone to sing along. The audience felt transported to the Highlands and Lowlands of Scotland and had this beautiful landscape in mind. We thank him for this great concert and we look forward to seeing him again in autumn 2020. "

"The Hoedown Band were quite simply awesome!! We had a triple 50th Birthday at the local hall ... We had 146 people who all had the best night ever so they say, thanks in no small part to Dawn and the band. The musicianship was excellent and Dawn’s calls were clear and easy to follow and she was roving around and leading each group until we got it and went full steam ahead with the band ripping into it. I cannot recommend this band enough. They exceeded our expectations and once again made our party what it was. Thank you guys and girls!"

"Local wedding we enjoyed a mix of easy listening music, to start the evening, customised dance list then a ceilidh dance segment with a caller to get the party into full swing followed again by another live music set. Brilliant combo great to get everyone involved. Reasonable pricing for all that you enjoy. Really made the wedding special Thank you"

"Robert Mitchell was very sensitive to our wish for a softer sound in the church and used the border pipes. He was extremely professional, worked well with the organist and pianist, and provided a lovely Irish touch to my daughter's wedding. Afterwards, he played the bagpipes outside while everyone gathered to greet the new couple with bubbles as they hopped into their limo. In addition, he provided a transition to the reception by playing the bagpipes outside the entrance. We are thankful to Robert and heard many positive comments about him from our guests."

"A few friends and I went to see Gaelforce at the Old Grocers in Pontefract on Friday. What a fantastic talented bunch of musicians these guys are. They delivered punchy folk rock songs, which are mostly their own with a few individual interpretations of some classics throughout the night. Brilliant stuff and highly entertaining. A great venue too, and cannot wait for them to return."
