We had a fantastic time and loved the dancing, it was a great ice breaker and a lot of our guests said how much fun they had. Hopefully we're not the worst dancers you've ever had! "What a fabulous night had by all. From the moment we booked the Barnbuskers for our Barn Dance Event at Country Ways they were fantastic. So helpful and well organised. Country Ways had over 100 guests for the Barn Dance and everyone was laughing and smiling. From young to old everyone joined in and had such a lovely evening. We will definitely be recommending the Barnbusker and are already thinking about our next Barn Dance. Thank you so much the Barnbuskers team you made a very memorable evening for all. "The Brogues provided our wedding in Largs with 5 hours of fun Ceilidh and disco dancing at a very affordable price - I don't think they could have been beaten on value. We had friendly Grace on keyboard and sweet Alan on fiddle, and together they produced that distinct Scottish Ceilidh sound, beautifully. They played a well-balanced mix of group and couples dances, interspersed with well needed refreshment breaks, and concluded the Ceilidh with EVERYBODY on the dance floor for the head-dizzying 'Strip the Willow'. Grace did an amazing job on the mic, explaining the various dance routines and keeping everybody right. For many of our guests it was their first Ceilidh experience, and the Brogues certainly made it one we all will never forget. Everybody smiled and perspired heavily - a sure sign of thorough enjoyment! Our first dance was made extra special, with Grace and Alan performing a very romantic cover of 'How Long Will I Love You' - which would honestly not have sounded better had Ellie Goulding been there to sing it herself! The evening was then rounded off with a disco of songs, superbly mixed, from our chosen playlist. Grace and Alan, thanks again. You were lovely and truly helped us have the best wedding possible! Highest recommendations from Stephen & Daffne."

"Given that 80% of our guests had never ceilidh’d before, the brogues did a wonderful job of leading dances where everyone could get involved and felt very much part of the celebrations. We’ve had so many compliments from our guests about how much they loved it and can’t wait to get ceilidhing again! Thank you!"

"Thank you and your team for a truly excellent evening on Saturday at South Warnborough. We had a full house and everyone seemed to be fully engaged in the event. We certainly didn’t have any sliding away early unless they had to! Please thank the team for all their support, and in particular please pass on my personal thanks again to Alistair for composing his hornpipe, “Old Navigator’s Measure”, especially for me. We would like to get our booking in for a similar Saturday next year, so please can you see if you can fit us in? Thank you again for a wonderful evening."

"We love them, they are an amazing band!! We first saw them live for an event at our church and decided to reach out to hire them for a 30th Birthday party and they did an amazing work, they clearly explained every song, they took their time, it never felt rushed or a hassle, they were very accommodating and overall we had a great communication with Grace. Definitely recommend them they are all lovely people, easy to get on with and I hope they continue to grow and be blessed, they do a fantastic job!"

"Blag were really exactly what we were looking for! I don't live in London so I was nervous about choosing a band I hadn't heard play, but they sounded great online, and I spoke to Michael over the phone and on email about the type of party we were having and the music we wanted. Most importantly they played brilliantly on the night, everyone was up out their seats for a good knees up and we were guided round the dances that we didn't know. All the guests were happy. Would definitely recommend!"
