"Blag were fantastic at our Burns night celebration last night, they were very flexible with our timings and played two brilliant sets. The communication beforehand was great which really put me at ease before they arrived. Both sets were so great that they managed to get almost everyone on the dance floor all night! I would have no hestitation in recommending Blag and look forward to booking them for our next event"

"I had the pleasure of the Brogues two piece ceilidh band of Alan and Grace to host my 21st birthday. The whole experience from booking, organising and the party itself was perfect. Grace and Alan were professional, friendly and ensured the best experience possible for both me and my guests. They ensured a personalised experience and everyone commented on how amazing the music and atmosphere was and I cannot thank them enough for making my 21st the special night it was."

"We booked the Brogues Ceilidh Band for our September 2025 wedding after seeing them at a friends wedding and they were brilliant! Really easy to communicate with, more than accommodating with our timings and any special requests. They performed a count down to our cake cutting then right into Grace singing our first dance song which magical. All our guests had a brilliant time, couldn’t recommend them enough - thanks again guys!! Mark and Amie ☺️"

"The Perfect Soundtrack to Our Wedding – Thanks to Grace Grace was a dream to work with — kind, talented, and completely tuned in to our vision from the very start. Her communication was excellent throughout, and she went above and beyond to provide music samples tailored to our ceremony choices, including a breathtaking Killers Medley for my walk down the aisle. When the day arrived, Grace’s live piano and vocals elevated every moment. Her performance during the pre-ceremony and throughout was simply stunning — elegant, emotional, and beautifully paced. Walking down the aisle to her music was one of the most emotional moments of the entire day. Guests repeatedly told us how special it felt to have live music, and how lovely Grace was. Her presence brought warmth and grace (no pun intended!) and truly helped shape the atmosphere of love and joy. Grace, you are so talented — we honestly can’t thank you enough for creating such magical moments through your music. "Bob Ferguson has played in Hannes Musikcafe in March 2023 and we have been to several of his concerts. His repertoire ranges widely from the Scottish/Irish/American song treasure mixed with his own numbers. From beginning to end, he involves the audience – ie; - he moves around among the audience and gets them to sing along to the many well-known sing-along songs. Bob is fantastic at "reading" his audience, makes lots of fun, laughs and jokes and has a fantastic contact with his audience. The songs mix with seasoned fine stories, lots of humour and vivid descriptions. Dressed in a kilt and with his powerful voice, from the moment he takes the stage, he creates a close and intimate atmosphere, and you leave the concert in a good mood. We can wholeheartedly recommend Bob Ferguson."

"Robert was a fantastic addition to our wedding, and added a unique element that will absolutely be remembered by the attendees. He was a pleasure to work with before the event, played the bagpipes amazingly well (a friend is a series bagpiper and he noted that Robert was very talented), and accommodated music and picture requests thus making sure everyone was thrilled. I would 100% recommend Robert for any bagpipe events! = Andy B."

"Booked the Brogues for our wedding and they couldn't have been more accommodating. Excellent band who helped out with anything we needed - including throwing in a few slow dances for a very pregnant bridesmaid! We and all our guests had a fabulous time. If you book The Brogues you won't regret it!"
