Review Centre: Ceilidh Bands

"The Brogues provided our wedding in Largs with 5 hours of fun Ceilidh and disco dancing at a very affordable price - I don't think they could have been beaten on value. We had friendly Grace on keyboard and sweet Alan on fiddle, and together they produced that distinct Scottish Ceilidh sound, beautifully. They played a well-balanced mix of group and couples dances, interspersed with well needed refreshment breaks, and concluded the Ceilidh with EVERYBODY on the dance floor for the head-dizzying 'Strip the Willow'. Grace did an amazing job on the mic, explaining the various dance routines and keeping everybody right. For many of our guests it was their first Ceilidh experience, and the Brogues certainly made it one we all will never forget. Everybody smiled and perspired heavily - a sure sign of thorough enjoyment! Our first dance was made extra special, with Grace and Alan performing a very romantic cover of 'How Long Will I Love You' - which would honestly not have sounded better had Ellie Goulding been there to sing it herself! The evening was then rounded off with a disco of songs, superbly mixed, from our chosen playlist. Grace and Alan, thanks again. You were lovely and truly helped us have the best wedding possible! "INCREDIBLE EXPERIENCE!! Toni and Brock were hired to pipe music for a special event in Miami. They gave the gift of their music and it was such a treat to have them and on time! Very professional in attire and communication skills the entire time. We'll hire them in a second as we have quarterly events throughout the year. We can't wait to hear them again!"

"CAMIC had the great pleasure of having Harbour City perform at our annual conference. Not only was the band fantastic, but they played a variety of tunes, from ones themed to the East Coast to familiar tunes from the past. Our guests happily danced until the last set was played"

"Amazing performance and Super Organized! As a wedding planner, I look for only the best to perform at our events because there is so much going on, we want to make sure our vendors are great and Brock and Toni are nothing short but amazing. They were willing to go the extra mile for our couple, super communicative and I didn’t have to worry about a thing. We certainly didn’t have any sliding away early unless they had to! "A2 Barn Dance provided a reel party for our daughter's 18th birthday party - what a night it was! They were very friendly and professional from the booking stage all the way through to the last note. They quickly realised our level of proficiency on the night and adapted their playing accordingly. In addition to being consummate musicians, they are really pleasant to deal with and supportive. I thoroughly recommend them."
