Review Centre: Ceilidh Bands

"Dear Dave, Mike and Gerry Thank you so much again for playing at our wedding last month. All our guests are still mentioning how awesome the music/entertainment was, particularly as so many of them had never experienced a ceilidh before. They sincerely loved it. (Despite being a bit exhausted by the end of the night.) I have attached some photos from the wedding, that I thought you might like to use on your website/facebook page. Although if possible, when showing the photos please can I ask that you mention our photographer Lee Ovenden of Sophotogenic Wedding Photography as the one who made them. (His logo fell off when I downloaded the photos.) Hope you have a good season and get to host many more lovely ceilidhs . Thank you again Best Wishes Yun and Markus "

"Brock and Toni’s bagpipe performance was absolutely wonderful. They have performed for us several times for various events (birthday, funeral, and graduation celebration) and they are so very professional and provide great entertainment and music. More than 5 stars!"

"Bob contributed with a fantastic concert in Fjerritslev Church Center in May 2023. Lots of happy people flocked to Fjerritslev Kirkcenter to hear the happy and well-liked Scotsman. Bob's concert was a lovely concert, for all age groups. Both his own songs but also huge hits from different decades were sung. Even the audience could choose songs. All in all, a Bob Ferguson concert is a wonderful experience, filled with joy, humorous remarks, beautiful singing with audience participation and a wonderful personal experience that you absolutely do not want to miss. 5 out of 5 stars from here. Thank you for a fantastic concert. We very much hope that he comes back to Fjerritslev. A clear recommendation to everyone from us here in Denmark."

"The Perfect Soundtrack to Our Wedding – Thanks to Grace Grace was a dream to work with — kind, talented, and completely tuned in to our vision from the very start. Her communication was excellent throughout, and she went above and beyond to provide music samples tailored to our ceremony choices, including a breathtaking Killers Medley for my walk down the aisle. When the day arrived, Grace’s live piano and vocals elevated every moment. Her performance during the pre-ceremony and throughout was simply stunning — elegant, emotional, and beautifully paced. Walking down the aisle to her music was one of the most emotional moments of the entire day. Guests repeatedly told us how special it felt to have live music, and how lovely Grace was. Her presence brought warmth and grace (no pun intended!) and truly helped shape the atmosphere of love and joy. Grace, you are so talented — we honestly can’t thank you enough for creating such magical moments through your music. "Excellent in all areas! Help and advice was willing given prior to our event. On the evening, the band arrived on time and set up quickly and efficiently. Their music was very professional, and the caller was very good indeed - he got everyone up and dancing, laughing and having a great time. Feedback from those who came to our Ceilidh was brilliant. "Bob was booked for a Burns supper. He was really flexible in what he could offer; I was asking him to play over a prolonged period of time, not a 40min 'set'. He engaged with the crowd brilliantly, and really brought the songs to life. I would absolutely recommend to anyone and would absolutely use again, thank you Bob."

"Robert was a fantastic addition to our wedding, and added a unique element that will absolutely be remembered by the attendees. He was a pleasure to work with before the event, played the bagpipes amazingly well (a friend is a series bagpiper and he noted that Robert was very talented), and accommodated music and picture requests thus making sure everyone was thrilled. I would 100% recommend Robert for any bagpipe events! = Andy B."

"Hesitate no further and book Brock and Toni for your next event! Excellent performers and musicians. They liven up the entire party. Such a unique and entertaining experience. Toni is a excellent communicator and commentator! Brock has jokes like none others, the ones you want to remember! Loved the bagpipes!!!"

"The Brogues were the absolute perfect choice for our wedding - we couldn’t have been happier with them! All the communication beforehand was clear and made us feel 100% certain that the band knew what we wanted. On the night we were running a bit behind schedule but they were so accommodating at changing our first dance plans slightly. We had so much fun with the ceilidh and then dj playlist - really couldn’t have asked for a more perfect night. Thank you Grace, Alan and Donal!"
