"School Fundraiser Chichester "Thank you so much for making our Barn Dance on Friday night such a success! Great fun and great exercise!! The music was fantastic, we were all very impressed by your skills and your instruments, especially the funky violin!! We raised approx. £500.00 which will be extremely useful for the School in times of low budgets. We have had requests for another Barn Dance asap , so please may we use you again!! "You guys were amazing! Thank you so much for helping make our day extra special. You made it all so easy and smooth from the beginning, and that was greatly appreciated! It was lovely of you to do the live cover for our first dance, and everyone absolutely loved the ceilidh! You were fantastic leading us with such an international mix of people, and we had lots of comments on how much fun it was. We will definitely recommend you to anyone who is looking for a band :)"

"We booked Blag for our Golden Wedding. They were excellent. They played soft music whilst we were eating then organised the barn dancing. All our guests were very impressed and, I understand, several asked for their contact details."

"It was lovely to see you last evening and to hear your brilliant band! Hearing live music played so well was a real treat after the last 2 years. Tom was as fantastic as ever guiding us through the dances and he always makes it so much fun. Everyone had a great time and they didn’t want to go home!"

"Blag were fantastic at our Burns night celebration last night, they were very flexible with our timings and played two brilliant sets. The communication beforehand was great which really put me at ease before they arrived. Both sets were so great that they managed to get almost everyone on the dance floor all night! I would have no hestitation in recommending Blag and look forward to booking them for our next event"

"Thank you so so much for your performance on Saturday night, I cannot express to you how much everyone loved it, especially those who had actually never been to a ceilidh before! Honestly fantastic. You were amazing.  Thank you again so very much we all had a fantastic time and managed to raise about £5000 on the night and with my London marathon fundraising, I have raised about £12,000 for Cancer Research.  "

"More than 5 Stars!!! There are no words because when everyone was welcomed with bag pipes at my husband's 50th birthday celebration, they were absolutely speechless!! What an amazing touch they brought to our event. So talented, friendly, and beyond everything we expected. "Cathy and the rest of the folk music band she plays with performed at our Relationship Celebration. They gave a fantastic set for our celebration's ceilidh! The music was high energy and fantastic to dance to and the caller's instructions were always clear. They even incorporated a special dance request (which was not the easiest to call for a large crowd of ceilidh novices!). Cathy was easy to communicate with on the lead up to the celebration - I cannot recommend her and her band more!"

"I booked Blag to play for my wedding and I was astonished by their ability to play almost any genre of music. They have a really lively act and are very down-to-earth, polite and professional to work with. It was clear that they really love playing music and their energy and enthusiasm infused the whole evening. The wedding reception was running late with the speeches and food, so Blag wandered around the tables playing violin and guitar acoustically before they played their evening set….It was magical. If I ever get married again, Blag will be my band of choice!!!"

"Made our father's memorial perfect. Brock and Toni played beautifully. During the memorial, Brock made sure each guest felt personalized as he would play a piece after speaking to them. Toni gave us ideas of what we possibly might want to do for the services. Together their playing Amazing Grace was incredible moving! Every one felt the tribute plus Toni had ideas that were used and greatly appreciated. We wouldn't have had such perfection without her advice. If you're looking for Pipers with care and kindness, they are definitely the choice."

"We had a wonderful time with the Brogues at our wedding, they were really great with fun dances and Grace was very helpful and communicative in advance! Felt we could trust them completely with reading the room in terms of what dances to do & when to call the DJ’ing section after the ceilidh. Thanks again!"
