"Blag played a Ceilidh for my 50th Birthday party on Saturday. We had a fantastic time and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The calling was very clear and the music brilliantly played. I specifically wanted an event where young and old, keen and not so keen dancers would all participate and that was achieved to the enjoyment of everyone. Thank you so much. The communication before the event was clear and helpful - David answering all sorts of detailed questions that I had. I can thoroughly recommend Blag to ensure a great event."

"Bob Ferguson has played in Hannes Musikcafe in March 2023 and we have been to several of his concerts. His repertoire ranges widely from the Scottish/Irish/American song treasure mixed with his own numbers. From beginning to end, he involves the audience – ie; - he moves around among the audience and gets them to sing along to the many well-known sing-along songs. Bob is fantastic at "reading" his audience, makes lots of fun, laughs and jokes and has a fantastic contact with his audience. The songs mix with seasoned fine stories, lots of humour and vivid descriptions. Dressed in a kilt and with his powerful voice, from the moment he takes the stage, he creates a close and intimate atmosphere, and you leave the concert in a good mood. We can wholeheartedly recommend Bob Ferguson."

"I had the best time with the Barn Buskers celebrating my 50th birthday. From the minute I booked them to the moment they had to leave they were brilliant. The youngest guest was 2, the oldest was 85 and everybody said what a fantastic time they had. Knees hurt but cheeks hurt more from all the smiling and laughing. The caller did extraordinarily well keeping us all together. Note to self.....must learn left from right 😂😂 If you are looking for some talented musicians with a flare to keep the party going, at a pace that suits your needs, then look no further. I believe a friend has booked them for their wedding next year, and I for one can't wait to do it all again 🩷 Huge thank you to Judy and co. Truly a most memorable day 🩷🥳"

"The Hoedown Band were quite simply awesome!! We had a triple 50th Birthday at the local hall ... We had 146 people who all had the best night ever so they say, thanks in no small part to Dawn and the band. The musicianship was excellent and Dawn’s calls were clear and easy to follow and she was roving around and leading each group until we got it and went full steam ahead with the band ripping into it. I cannot recommend this band enough. They exceeded our expectations and once again made our party what it was. Thank you guys and girls!"

"The Brogues were excellent and very accomodating to our wedding. Their sound is amazing and all the guests loved the atmosphere they helped create. From our end as organisers they were responsive and easy to work with. Can 100% recommend without any issue."

"Brock and Toni were absolutely wonderful. Our wedding guests arrived to the heart warming sounds of Brock and Toni playing an amazing Wedding Tune! It was deeply moving and spirit felt by all. Toni's welcoming smile and gentle calming spirit was present on the phone, texts and day of. She helped out on so many levels! What a great way to set the tone for our daughter's wedding. The professionalism, talent and fun personalities of this couple will never be forgotten. We were truly blessed to have found them, and I recommend them wholeheartedly and without reservation. "We had the Brogues band at our wedding day in September 2023. Brogues band were absolutely integral to our special day, not only was the music perfect for our setting & wedding the service and professionalism we experienced from the band was amazing! We had spoken with Grace from the band initially who had initially discussed our wedding day plans- no request was too much for the band. They completely slotted into our day and wedding as we wished! From the Ceilidh calling to the dancing itself, we could not have asked for anything more. Following the wedding we had many comments from our wedding guests complimenting how great the band were and how relaxed and well co-ordinated the Ceilidh dances were. Grace had done an excellent job of Ceilidh calling, and rounding up members of the wedding- which we appreciate can not be easy at the reception after the guests have had a few drinks! The dance floor was never empty and this was something we were so pleased about. As our venue can seem massive when the floor isn’t filled, however the band ensured that there was always ample people up boogeying away. From the moment of the first dance to our last dance of Loch Lomond, the band completely ensured the party was going and everyone had a great time. Requests were kindly taken from the dance floor too which allowed everyone to feel part of the wedding and gave every one a chance to get up and dance into the night! We cannot recommend Brogues Band enough, absolutely perfect if you’re looking for a traditional & laid back Scottish wedding- with your own stamp added! Thank you Brogues Band x"

"Thank you for the most romantic and Scottish first dance and for your ceilidh. Tricia was great when calling the dances and explaining us what to do. We all had lots of fun. You also managed to make my dad dance, who ususally never does! I was truly amazed to see him on the dance floor. With your wonderful music you made the evening even more special and you created wonderful memories that we will bring forever in our hearts. I truly wish to meet you again and dance at the rythm of your wonderful Scottish music. I have purchased your disc in ITunes as I am in love with your songs! "

"The band is unique combination of Irish teas, Indie n Latin fusion. It suited our crowd at my husbands 40th birthday as we had mixed nationalities and help bring us together, they had to do several encours as no one wanted the band to leave. Would recommend them"

"A very special experience for us, was when a Sunday in June, for the first time we held a house concert. The Artist, yes, it was Bob Ferguson and what a wonderful day it became. We had borrowed a tent. and scraped the neighbours. and own garden chairs together, and had invites family, friends, neighbours, and others, at a concert in the garden. Not everyone knew about Bob already, but we have received incredibly many happy, and positive feedbacks. Everyone was excited about the music and the amazing atmosphere that Bob created. It was a huge experience, and it didn't require much. Bob is highly recommended if someone has a party in mind, and I certainly don't think it's the last time we do it. and the guests are ready, I have no doubt about that. "
