"We saw the biggest ensemble that Hitchen Jazz provides - The Hitchen Big Band, at Montpellier Jazz Club in 2015. They played an excellent concert. David presented the concert all evening in French, with a charming English Accent. We have followed the group ever since, and we also love the Hitchen Jazz Trio. Bravissimo! "

"Well, where can I start! From initially stumbling upon Dr Jazz and realising that there was something rather special about their approach and unique sound, to the very first email and phone calls to discuss our plans for the day, all the way through to our Wedding day itself – Dr Jazz and company were brilliant. Helpful, friendly, and wonderfully entertaining, we could not have asked for anything more. The set itself was fantastic – we were blown away with how much of an impact they made, not only in terms of everyone feeling the urge to get up to dance (which was a slight worry for us before the day!), but also with their spot on interaction with the guests, and overall management and ownership of the evening. We really knew we’d made the right decision as soon as the first note was played – talk about creating a spectacle!! In terms of a front man Matthew is absolutely superb, and his supporting crew of brilliantly talented musicians helped make our day one to remember for both us and our guests. Thank you all so very much for everything. We know what it’s like trying to find the ‘right band’, ourselves having trawled through many hundreds of sample tracks from other people and groups, and the worries that come with it regarding whether people will like it, whether it’ll be well received etc. The best advice I can honestly give is that if you are sitting there reading this review, and you have enjoyed the sample tracks you’ve listened to, then please don’t hesitate to book these guys. You will not regret it, and you and your guests will certainly never forget it. They were nothing short of marvellous. Once again we wanted to say thank you very much for everything – we really had a fantastic time, as did everyone else in attendance, and it is all thanks to you and your crew. You certainly made the evening, if not the day for us, and we are so pleased and lucky to have been able to book you to play for us. You were nothing short of brilliant, and we can’t stop talking or thinking about how amazing you were (and nor can anyone else!) It was so lovely to meet you all in person. All the best for the future, and please rest assured that we’ll be singing your praises for the years to come!"

"First of all - WOW! I had very high expectations to begin with but you surpassed those in the first ten minutes. You are a true professional and having you perform at our wedding made the event. "Hi Sam, We would just like to say the biggest thanks, the evening went so well, everyone was buzzing! What a night we all had on Saturday! The band made our night so special for us and Dale and the band made that possible. We knew you were fantastic but you on the night you lit up the sky and everyone thought the Band was amazing. Your help and advice sorting the stage in the lead up to our wedding was exceptional, you were so helpful, accommodating and reassuring when we had a question or query. Please pass on our sincere thanks to Dale and all the band who are all so gifted / talented, and so much fun! They absolutely made our wedding day one night that we will never ever forget! The dance floor was never empty, Dee and Mel were incredible so much charisma and simply Amazing! Thanks for making it such a special night for us family and our friends – you blew us away ! "Jazz and the Tonics came and performed at Leith's at Beaulieu for a corporate event on the 28th July 2018. They were professional and friendly to deal with and not only that but were AMAZING performers. Emily's voice is just out of this world with everyone complementing her. I would 100% recommend Jazz & The Tonics to other corporates or wedding parties."

"Dennis is an incredible musician and person. He was quick to respond on emails, flexible during our pandemic postponement scheduling process, and willing to take our special requests for music. We received so many compliments from guests on Dennis’ acoustic guitar during our ceremony and the band’s renditions of hits from Van Morrison, Grateful Dead, and Eric Clapton during our cocktail hour. I would hire Dennis and his band again in a heartbeat."

"As a great lover of Gipsyjazz for over 40 years, I went to a great concert of the Marcia Bamberg Swing Quartet last weekend with the addition of two world famous musicians on violin and guitar, Tim Kliphuis and Mozes Rosenberg. The six-piece formation brought a great ode to gipsyjazz with beautiful solos on guitar and violin and also beautiful subdued numbers sung by Marcia Bamberg. It was a great experience and a recommendation for everyone who loves gypsy jazz to visit future concerts."

"What did we want? Something a little bit different to entertain our guests of a mixed age group, something that was current and fresh with a nod to the traditional, fun but not cheesy. Musically Excellent. (I'm an ex cruise ship performer so quite fussy.) Trip 4 Biscuits achieved this in spades and has been one of the main talking points of our wedding at the Berry Head Hotel. Think Dua Lipa, Moose T. Right said Fred Sung to perfection in a sequined Ball gown with Tuxedoed Musicians in a 1920's/30's speakeasy style, arrangements that are simply impossible not to tap your feet or dance to. Well done to Laura and the band Edward and Lewis xxxx"
