"WE DUO was definitely one of the highlights of our wedding in Evora! From the first consultation (Filipa is very prompt and responsive!) to the day of the event, we could not be happier with their service. They have a large repertoire of music to choose from and are also very accommodating when it comes to learning new music which made our event feel truly personal. We had so many guests approach us after the wedding ceremony who told us how much they loved the music that Filipa and Bruno played."

"We hired the Kara Strings quartet for our corporate event and they were truly the highlight of the evening. The performance was elegant, engaging and perfectly suited to the atmosphere of the event. So many of our guests came up to us afterwards to say how much they enjoyed the music and to ask about the musicians. The quartet were professional, punctual and a pleasure to work with from start to finish. If you are looking for a high-quality string quartet for a corporate event or special occasion, I would highly recommend Kara Strings."

"We approached Scotia Strings a couple of months before our wedding and we're so glad we did! Lizzy was so helpful throughout the whole process and responded really quickly whenever we had any questions. Their set list offers a wide range of beautiful music to choose from and any songs that we wanted that wasn't on the list, they were more than happy to learn and play on the day. "Review received on 5/19/2022 Jennifer blew us away! Jennifer, and her fellow violinist Chloe, helped make our wedding so amazing and special, they really blew us away. We gave Jennifer a challenging list of our favourite music we hoped to hear and she was able to nail all of the songs. Every one of our guests loved their performance, and my husband and I were so happy with what they achieved for us. Jennifer was a pleasure to work with, and helped ease our stress while we were attempting to organize our wedding through the pandemic. We would definitely recommend Jennifer in future! "Nicola and Laura played for my wedding (both cellists), at the ceremony, reception and wedding breakfast. String Musicians have made it so easy and stress free for myself, during the planning and also on the wedding day. Once I told them what I wanted for the music (from the style of music to specific pieces), I did not need to worry about anything else. They worked with the registrar from the council to coordinate cues during the ceremony, so the transition between music pieces was seamless. Many guests commented how well they played throughout the day! Thank you!"
