"We have been separated from our kids in Australia by Covid but our daughter sent Tom to play for my birthday in the front garden. Complete surprise and absolutely fantastic. He started with Happy Birthday then went on to a huge medley, even playing my request The Dark Island. Very emotive. We have been replaying our videos constantly and also the cd he gave me. Thank you so much Tom - it made the day. (10 / 10)"

"Johnny played the bagpipes for my dad’s funeral. He was so professional and kind through our entire interaction. He did a beautiful job at the graveside service. It was the perfect touch and added so much to our day. My dad would have loved it! I highly recommend Johnny. He will definitely add something special to any occasion!"

"Johnny was beyond great! The booking process was simple and he was very informative and detailed in regard to what to expect. He walked me through some recommendations and made the whole process very easy. We hired him for my grandmothers funeral service and he definitely made it special for our family. "Stevie, Recently piped at a relatives funeral, leading up to the event he was utterly professional, putting myself and the family at ease and liaising directly with the funeral service director over the proceedings on the day, and easing the burden on the family. On the day, he was immaculately turned out, and his piping of the Laments were faultless, his presence really made the final journey of our Loved one very special, everyone has commented how lovely it was to hear the pipes, and i cannot thank Stevie enough for his efforts on a very sad but through him an uplifting day. Thank you. "

Keith used his experience to select the perfect pieces to play at the perfect moments and was an absolute pleasure to work with. "True Talent - True Professional - Truly great Human-being! Our mother passed away unexpectedly and to our surprise her last written wishes for her funeral service included having a bagpiper. This was a pleasant surprise for our family, however, we didn't know where to start to secure one, (especially on a late Saturday night evening). Johnny Miner and his services had great reviews and his website and credentials were very impressive. I filled out the brief questionnaire, including the date and occasion - thinking I wouldn't hear back until the weekend was over, and to my surprise and great relief, Johnny called me right away and offered his condolences asking how he could help. He'll never know the weight he lifted from our shoulders by being so kind, compassionate, helpful ,and willing to offer his talents to fulfill our mother's dying wish. We opted for him to play as our mother was carried out of the funeral services and into the hurst as well as at the gravesite. By the time we were gathered at the cemetery, Johnny was already in position, dressed professionally in the traditional kilt and clothing showing the upmost respect to our mother and our grieving family members playing a medley of her favorite songs. If you are fortunate to book with Johnny Miner, your event will be enhanced and stress free. He knows what he is doing and allows you to take care of all of the other details in a difficult situation without a worry as to his part. Bagpipe music reaches the soul and emotions like no other instrument can. Thank you for sharing your passion and talents with our family."
