"Beautiful atmospheric location and a very relaxed performance by the quartet! It was as if you could join them at their home for an evening full of fun anecdotes, fun amongst each other and fun making music. The Christmas songs were refreshing in the gipsy jazz style, nicely interspersed with their regular set! It was impossible to stay seated..."

"Well hello, it’s Larry Richmond back on the entertainment scene, and so good to be attending live entertainment again. On Sunday 20th February I attended the Pheasantry in Chelsea, to see Lorraine & The Flames. This gig was produced by Aspects Productions and presented in association with Pizza Express Live. I had previously seen the band’s showreel and was looking forward to seeing them live on stage. The Pheasantry is one of London’s top two cabaret rooms. I arrived well in time to order a meal and a bottle of wine. The show started at 8.00 pm. The venue was full. After an introduction by the compere, Lorraine looking stunningly elegant in her long glittering dress entered the room from the above stage balcony and slowly descended the stairway singing her opening song. Throughout the 90 min show, consisting of two 45 min sets, Lorraine backed by her excellent band of piano, bass, drums, and guitar, gave us the best of the American songbook in a relaxed and stylish style which was a joy to hear and see. I understand that Lorraine Heavey was a successful professional performer in her native Ireland during the early part of her career, and then gave up performing to marry and start a family. How glad I am that this talented lady has decided to return to her showbiz career and is now performing again. Lorraine Heavey has that certain element that we call ‘star’ quality. I hear through the grapevine that Lorraine and The Flames will be performing again at the Pheasantry later this year on the 6th Sept and at another of London’s top cabaret rooms, The Crazy Coqs, on the 3rd of October. "Arietta did an outstanding performace for our celebration. Not only did she provide the dinner entertainment that we had asked for she also generously agreed to learning a few songs that we wanted specifically included during our event. These songs were an important part of a fun and entertaining opening and Arietta nailed it. I also must say that it was a pleasure working with her prior to our show. Very responses and enthusiastic. Over the years I've hired numersous entertainers/bands and while many perform well, few brought the joy and and commitment to entertaining that Arietta brought. Thanks Arietta!"

"Wow - Kate was awesome. Such a lovely person and fabulous voice! I hired her for my husband's 60th birthday party in our back garden and she was perfect for the event. She went with the flow of the party - background effect at the start when people were arriving and saying hello, to getting louder and more upbeat as the party livened up. Loads of people asked me where I booked her from and commented on how great she was. I would definitely book Kate again. Thank you Kate - you were a very valuable ingredient at the party that made the event a fantastic success."

"We hired Mood Indigo for our summer party, and they were really such a fantastic duo. 🌞 Alice and Tom are both super professional and v. easy to work with. Their music set just the right tone for the evening, and everyone loved their mix of contemporary and classic tunes. They even played a few special requests, including a beautiful version of "Here Comes the Sun" that had everyone singing along. Big thanks to Mood Indigo for making our event so memorable!"

"Well, where can I start! From initially stumbling upon Dr Jazz and realising that there was something rather special about their approach and unique sound, to the very first email and phone calls to discuss our plans for the day, all the way through to our Wedding day itself – Dr Jazz and company were brilliant. Helpful, friendly, and wonderfully entertaining, we could not have asked for anything more. The set itself was fantastic – we were blown away with how much of an impact they made, not only in terms of everyone feeling the urge to get up to dance (which was a slight worry for us before the day!), but also with their spot on interaction with the guests, and overall management and ownership of the evening. We really knew we’d made the right decision as soon as the first note was played – talk about creating a spectacle!! In terms of a front man Matthew is absolutely superb, and his supporting crew of brilliantly talented musicians helped make our day one to remember for both us and our guests. Thank you all so very much for everything. We know what it’s like trying to find the ‘right band’, ourselves having trawled through many hundreds of sample tracks from other people and groups, and the worries that come with it regarding whether people will like it, whether it’ll be well received etc. The best advice I can honestly give is that if you are sitting there reading this review, and you have enjoyed the sample tracks you’ve listened to, then please don’t hesitate to book these guys. You will not regret it, and you and your guests will certainly never forget it. They were nothing short of marvellous. Once again we wanted to say thank you very much for everything – we really had a fantastic time, as did everyone else in attendance, and it is all thanks to you and your crew. You certainly made the evening, if not the day for us, and we are so pleased and lucky to have been able to book you to play for us. You were nothing short of brilliant, and we can’t stop talking or thinking about how amazing you were (and nor can anyone else!) It was so lovely to meet you all in person. All the best for the future, and please rest assured that we’ll be singing your praises for the years to come!"
