"Lorraine and the Flames are hands down one of the best groups I've heard in a long time. We were hosting an outdoor Jazz and BBQ evening and the guys couldn't have been more amazing! The music was perfect and Lorraine's voice is sublime. They set the atmosphere and mood from the moment they started, and so many of our guests commented on how wonderful they were. Thanks Freya. We really enjoyed playing for you at The Plough Inn. It was such a great receptive and fun audience and the outdoor venue was great . It was so spacious for all our instruments. "What did we want? Something a little bit different to entertain our guests of a mixed age group, something that was current and fresh with a nod to the traditional, fun but not cheesy. Musically Excellent. (I'm an ex cruise ship performer so quite fussy.) Trip 4 Biscuits achieved this in spades and has been one of the main talking points of our wedding at the Berry Head Hotel. Think Dua Lipa, Moose T. Right said Fred Sung to perfection in a sequined Ball gown with Tuxedoed Musicians in a 1920's/30's speakeasy style, arrangements that are simply impossible not to tap your feet or dance to. Well done to Laura and the band Edward and Lewis xx"

"Silk Street Jazz were making a return visit to the annual Epping Christmas Market. They are an excellent group and very professional. They are very approachable and played a good selection of items. It was just what we wanted and they greatly added to the success of the market. Thank you!"

"We hired The Decatur Street Trio for my Dad's 60th Birthday Party. Rosie was extremely helpful and accommodating, very responsive and a pleasure to deal with. The band were great and even learned an unusual special request! They blended in perfectly with the party atmosphere and we would definitely recommend them xx"

"Dear Jess, Thank you from me and Mat!!! You and your band have been absolutely fantastic - we really enjoyed having you sing and play so beautifully and for being so flexible with timing. EVERYONE loved you and the band - they all said you have the most fabulous/ stunning voice and presence. The "EVERYONE" includes all the chefs (they were boogying whilst getting the meal out), the floor staff, and my neighbours who were still working in the garden and didn't quite make over to dinner. Thank you also for singing the 2 songs I requested - my brother (the one who led the speeches) was very touched as they were for him and thought you sang them beautifully! We will certainly be in touch again when we entertain with live music again! With very best wishes to you and all your band members Yvonne & Mat "

"Doesn’t time fly by! Two weeks today since we got married and you came along to keep us entertained. It was an amazing day and you and your band contributed immensely. From the moment I contacted you I knew we had made the right choice. Your communication and understanding was excellent. Our 1930s theme fit right in with the venue and your style of music. We received lots of comments from our guests about how lovely it was to sit on the lawn drinking Pimms listening to you play whilst we were off having photos taken. It was so relaxing and elegant. Like being on a film set, one guest said. I think what made it for me was when all the guests had gone inside to sit down for the meal and we were passing some hotel guests sitting on the terrace enjoying the sun. As I walked passed one gentleman starting clapping and commented how beautiful I looked and thanked me for providing such wonderful music that he had enjoyed listening to; a real unexpected pleasure. In fact the venue told me the following day that quite a few hotel guests had commented on the great music. The evening was astounding. In the DJ sets you provided between Dr Jazz’s live sessions you managed to fit in all our guests’ special songs. This made it a lot more personal. And thank you so much for rearranging one of your songs to fit in with the routine we had learned for our first dance. This just shows how versatile and amenable you are. We would like to thank you for coming and making our wedding day most enjoyable, not just for us but for our guests. I have already been recommending you and will continue to do so."

"We were both extremely impressed by the band and really enjoyed the music. Even more telling was the number of comments we had from guests as we walked around during the reception. The band is extremely talented and the music they played for us was perfect. They played two songs for us that weren't on their regular set list, and both were great. We were really pleased with their performance and professionalism. Anybody who likes well played gypsy, Dawg, or music that isn't cookie cutter will love these guys."

"Rosie was great to work with from booking stage, on the night and post event. Our guests really enjoyed themselves as they were transported back to the 1920’s era and set the mood for the rest of the evening. Would highly recommend Decatur Street Jazz for future events!"

"Brian and his band provided us with the most wonderful entertainment for our wedding this month. Right from the start Brian was easy to communicate and organise things with, they hardly required anything from us in order to come & play and where very flexible even when our plans changed at the last minute. We thoroughly enjoyed the music they played and would highly recommend them to anyone considering a band for a wedding."
