Review Centre: Vintage Themed Bands

"I hosted a Saga jazz holiday at the Merton Hotel, Jersey, at which The Brian White Quartet was engaged to play. This was a unique experience, being Saga's first jazz holiday on the island and also that we had not heard the band play before. What a wonderful evening we had, with the band playing a superb programme of smooth, sophisticated jazz to the audience's delight. The band was very professional in every way - with good time-keeping and performing to our specified requirements. I have no hesitation in recommending this band if you are looking for something special, modern, up to date and very entertaining. "

"Dear Jonathan, I wanted to put pen to paper to thank you and the band for an absolutely splendid performance last Saturday. The three players, whose names – I am ashamed to admit – escape me (one tends to drink a little on ones’ 50th) were fantastic. Smiling, easy going and accommodating yet thoroughly professional, they played superbly and contributed hugely to the success of the party. "Totally recommend Hetty and her band. I wanted a Post Modern Jukebox feel to my party; she and her band brought that and more. They arrived early, looked the part from the word go, were 100% professional and were fabulous musicians. Huge repertoire of songs. Would recommend to anyone and would definitely book them again. "The Jelly Roll Jazz Band were such a special part of our wedding day! They played us up the aisle at the end of the ceremony, then stayed to perform during our outdoor drinks reception. They were fantastic to work with and sounded wonderful on the day – we absolutely loved having them there, and our guests said the same. "We were both extremely impressed by the band and really enjoyed the music. Even more telling was the number of comments we had from guests as we walked around during the reception. The band is extremely talented and the music they played for us was perfect. They played two songs for us that weren't on their regular set list, and both were great. We were really pleased with their performance and professionalism. Anybody who likes well played gypsy, Dawg, or music that isn't cookie cutter will love these guys."
